You were invited to join Quentin Beck to work in a secret place, soon after you find out the reason why he was doing the secret project.
Soon you start developing feelings for him, and so does he.
One day, an explosion happen...
"Well we are here" He pointed out to the building. "Come on"
He parked his car and opened the door and I did the same.
The surroundings were quite deserted,but I gotta admit the building looked amazing.
He scanned his eyes at the entrance, to allow the door to open.
That's some high tech security right there.
The door led to a huge base with around 20 people walking around and doing some things.
"This, is where the magic happens" He smiled at me.
I looked around in awe, it was amazing!
"So (y/n), are you ready to get to know what you're going to be a part of?" He said mischievously.
I nodded, excited to see what is all this about.
He led, to what I assume is the control room.
He mingled with some buttons.
My jaw dropped when I saw a huge water-kind of thing destroying..... Nothing?
Quentin chuckled.

"Calm down, it's not real, it's a holographic projection"
"Well this is some next level kind of technology, Quentin" I looked outside of the control room, at the water monster.
I flinched when it let out a loud scream.
"And the sound quality is amazing!" I said excitedly to him.
He smiled. "It is isn't it?"
"But what are you going to use this tech for? You have anything in mind?" I asked, curious.
He paused.
"I do, but can I trust you enough to tell you?" He questioned me.
"Well, I live alone, no friends or family, so who am I going to tell to anyways?" I smiled at him.
He put his hand on my shoulder.
"I hope you're right, (y/n). Because once you're in on this, there's no going back" He said in a low voice.
I shuddered and nodded.
His eyes immediately widened and he smiled.
"Try to relax a little, this workplace is a stress free environment. Come on let me show you around" He gestured me out of the room.
I looked around, admiring everything.
"It's beautiful isn't it" He rested his hand on my shoulder.
I nodded in agreement.
I looked at him.
"So Quentin, what exactly is my purpose here?" I asked him.
"I mean, this place is amazing, and the technology used is extremely futuristic. I'm just a normal girl who doesn't have any friends" I pressed my lips.
He frowned.
"Why do you say that about yourself? You are capable of many things, (y/). You just don't know that yet. And don't put yourself down, you have worth, everyone has. You have to start believing in yourself, to have confidence" He said, not breaking eye contact.
I, well I was speechless honestly.
And also I begin to question why I let a stranger take me back to his place. But I ain't complaining I'll tell you that.
