Quentin's POV

I looked over to see Nat nervously preparing for what's coming.

We're screwed aren't we?

Thousands of thoughts flashed through my mind about (y/n)

Where is she? I can't imagine anything happening to her.

A part of me knows that she'll be fine. She's one of the toughest people I've ever met.

"You don't have to do this Beck" Steve approached me with his shield, still preparing.

I smiled faintly.

"Cap, at this point, we need all the man power we have to defeat this madman"

He raised both his eyebrows.

"You know Beck, you're really the opposite of what I expected you to be" He smiled.

"Really?" I said amusingly.

He slightly nodded his head.

"In my mind I pictured you to be the classic villain who swears to defeat their enemy" He chuckled.

"I'm really proud of you Quentin. You're a good person" He put his hand on my shoulder.

I smiled slightly and looked down.

Cap really made me feel somewhat better, even though I did terrible things in the past.

"Something just entered the upper atmosphere" Okoye announced.

Everyone looked at each other in silence as we rushed towards the open area.

I stood beside Bucky, with the suit Tony gave me.

I felt, I felt as if I'm a part of something. And I know I am. But it's an honour to be apart of the Avengers and fight evil.

But if you want me to be honest, I don't feel like I belong in this line of superheroes, I don't think that I even deserve this suit that Tony gave me.

"What's up?" Bucky frowned when he saw my worried face.

I shook my head and smiled.

"I mean, I was a villain and here I am with the heroes, about to fight a mad gut who plans on destroying half the universe"

"I know how you feel, speaking from my experience. I think you know" He smiled softly.

"Sometimes you will feel like you don't belong. But over time you'll learn that there's people who genuinely care for you" He said as he looked at Steve who was talking to T'Challa .

I nodded, agreeing to his words.

We all flinched when we heard the sound of something exploding.

I looked up and there were at least ten doughnut ships.

"Great they brought us a party" Natasha looked at the ships, I could sense nervousness in her voice.

"Everyone, be prepared for whats coming. Look out for one another, stay sharp" Steve said in a serious voice.

I fully suited myself with the suit Tony gave me, preparing to face the worst.

Natasha, Steve and T'challa walked to the end of the dome to talk to Thanos' men.

They came back, looking anxious.

"Well that conversation definitely didn't end well" I sighed.

"Tell me about it. I bet ten dollars we're all going to die" Bucky said as he rolled his eyes.

I chuckled as he said that.

"I love how you're looking forward to die, Bucky" Sam glared at him.

"Honestly, what a mood" Shuri said through the communication device.

"I have no idea what that means but I agree with her" Bucky said.

"Are you children done?" Natasha stared at us.

"What the hell are they doing?" Steve said horrifyingly.

I looked towards the end of the dome.

Thousands of creatures were trying to get in, kill them in the process of doing so.

But little by little, those things are slowly managing to get through the dome.

"They're getting in" Okoye said, horrified.

"We can't let them get around the dome, vision is in there" Steve looked at T'Challa.

"Everyone, prepare to attack" T'Challa said as he stepped up.

"Shuri, on my command, open the north side of the shield"

"What? But brother--" Shuri replied.

"We don't have time, just do it" T'Challa cut her off.

"Everyone! Get in position!" He said loudly and fearlessly.

"Man we really about to die huh?" Bucky shook his head.

My heart is beating like crazy right now. There's too many of those creatures, if we're speaking logically, we're screwed.

I pushed all those thoughts aside and focused.

Come on Beck, you got this.

"Wakanda Forever!" T'Challa yelled, and we all ran forward as the dome opened, letting those horrible creatures in.
