Facing my fears

"Just calm down" Wanda chuckled.

"CALM DOWN? WANDA I DON'T WANT TO DIE THIS YOUNG" I said , panicking.

"You're overreacting" Strange said amusingly.

"Look, I was scared too. But trust me, once you're up there, it's... Fun" Wanda shrugged.

I sighed.

I really wanna run away right now, but I know that ain't happening.

"Fine" I gave in.

"Just watch what I'm doing and follow me" She said.

"And we won't let you die (y/n)" Strange shook his head.

I watched Wanda used her powers to lift herself up, she makes it look so easy, when I know, ITS NOT.

I closed my eyes and focused.

Come on, how hard can it be?

I did the same as Wanda, but when I was slightly lifted from the ground, I panicked and stopped.

"Don't be scared, (y/n). Believe in yourself" Wanda said.

I nodded.

I lifted myself, slowly, steadily, while trying to calm myself.

Now, I'm about 20 feet above the ground and I swear if I look down now, I'll pass out.

"(y/n), look at me" Wanda called.

"Believe in your powers, put your trust in it. As long as you do that, nothing will go wrong. You're not going to fall" She said.

I nodded.

"Okay, okay" I said as I slowly became more confident.

"Come on, fly to the other building, don't worry, I'm right here" She said.

Well just hope I don't die.

I slowly followed Wanda as we flew to the other side.

It was actually, fun.

Like, I could see the whole facility from where I was.

And I can feel my abilities flowing through me, I feel.... Powerful.

We landed on the building, and I smiled at Wanda.

"See? It was nice" She said.

We both raced back to where Strange was.

"Talk about being a fast learner" Strange said, in an impressive tone.

I chuckled.

"Hey, I mean I just faced one of my greatest fear" I said, proudly.

"Come on, let's get in. We're leaving soon" Strange said.

We followed him and gathered with the rest of the team.

"Where were you guys?" Sam asked, curious.

The three of us smiled at each other.

He looked at us suspiciously.

"Anyways, we're leaving, like now" Tony said.

"Since there are a lot of us, we'll take two Quinjets"

"Me, Stephen , Peter, (y/n) and Quentin will take the smaller Quinjet. The rest, will take the big one. Chop chop we have no time to waste, unless we want to die" He said sarcastically.

"Nice, Tony" Steve rolled his eyes.

"What? It's true" Tony shrugged.

Quentin is coming?

I scanned the room to find him, where the hell is he?

"Hey" I startled when someone touched my shoulder.

He chuckled.

"Hey, I'm surprised you're coming" I asked Quentin.

"Well, I can't let anything happen to you can I? " He smiled softly.

"Plus Stark offered me to join the team" He said.

"That's nice, you both are bonding" I said happily.

"Well I guess you can say that" He shrugged.

"Plus he gave me something just now" He said.

I looked at him curiously.

"He made me a, he made me a suit" He said in a low voice.

What?

"He did?" I asked.

"Well that's what he said. He said I deserve it, but I don't know, (y/n). Why does he trust me so much" He said with red eyes.

"I wanted to seek revenge on him, and he knows how much I hated him. Why?" He asked.

I looked at him softly.

"Quentin. You're a good guy. I know that, Tony knows that. You should too.  And Tony, he doesn't just trust someone like that. He sees something in you, he knows that you are capable of doing good" I said.

"Honestly (y/n), I don't know what I did to deserve you" He cupped my cheek and smiled.

"And yes, I'm flattered" He said.

"Hey lovebirds!" Tony called from upstairs.

"Hurry up would ya!" He said amusingly.

We both chuckled and quickly joined them.
