In this world we live in. Everything is different. Quirks were among us human beings. Either you had some superpower or you were born with none. However, soulmates were a thing along with quirks. Imagine that right? Having some amazing, original quirk with the love of your life by your side? Life was planned for you from the start. Quirks are easy to explain. Some people have fire quirks, water quirks, telekinesis, brainwashing, etc. You could even become a pro hero. Soulmates, however, is more difficult to understand.

Just like quirks, everyone has a different quirk. Well, everyone meets their soulmate differently, some don't. You either met your soulmate by:

- having a timer on your wrist or a date of when you will meet your soulmate
- soulmates will have dreams about each other, they can communicate through their dreams til they meet
- birthmarks.
- the ability to write something on your hand and your soulmate will see it.
- those ^ are the basic, most common ways to meet your soulmate.

however, there is another way that is more extreme, this way to meet your soulmate is rare and most definitely difficult.

This way is called: Connected Touch.
- The pain you ever come across/feel onto you, your soulmate will definitely feel too.
- Example: Soulmate A scrapes their knee on gravel. Soulmate B will feel the pain as well as you.
- The connected touch fades away when the two soulmates meet and actually fall in love.
- Note: (even though your soulmates, you are not going to fall in love once you meet them.)
- This way of meeting your soulmate is more dangerous than the other ones.
- if you die, your soulmate dies.
That is that most painful part of it all. Always worrying about your life. Maybe your soulmate was reckless, maybe they didn't care what happens to them. Same goes for yourself; not only you are caring for yourself, you have someone who is a part of you too.

Things were hard when you are a pro hero too. Always fighting, making sure you stay alive and well. You have to think inside your head:

"I have to win this. I can't get off track."

"How is my soulmate doing? Are they okay?"

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!"

It's all the same things. It gets lonely after sometime. You come home after all that hard work, saving people, taking care of the city. Your body immensely sore from battle and possibly from your soulmate who is miles away. You begin to wonder:

"Is it even worth it?"

"All this pain, confusion, hopeless dreams."

You begin to feel alone.
Yes, you had a quirk.
Yes, you are a pro hero.
Yes, you made it.

However,

you wished that soulmates never existed.
