Today is Monday.
I didn't want to get out of bed. Since Friday night, when Aizawa arrived. He was on my mind. I couldn't help but replay the scene over and over again.
Our hands connected together..
Our bodies inching closer as our lips were parted
We were about to kiss-
"WE WERE GOING TO KISS!" My body jolts up off bed, my cheeks burning up at the thought. However, he left quite immediately. How will I face him? Can I fake sick? Should I call in?
I loud meow from Mimi appears at the door. My eyes meet hers, my hands at my sides. I can't skip today. Aizawa and the other pro heroes worked hard on the USJ for the students. My legs swing over to the edge of the bed. I might as well get ready for the trip. I walk over grabbing my hero uniform off my dresser. My hands reach up to rub my eyes as I walk to the bathroom. That was when a sting of a slap spreads across my cheek. "What the shit!" I curse, my hands going to my cheek.
Did my soulmate just get slapped?
Did they slap themselves?
I should be lucky that it was just a slap. It could have been much worse. That's when it came it to me. I almost kissed somebody who's not my soulmate.. My first kiss that I have been saving for my soulmate would have been erased. I scoff bending over to pick up my clothes. It's a good thing we didn't kiss. He knew too right? He shouldn't be kissing other people. There's nothing to stress about.
I step into the bathroom as I begin to quickly undress for a quick shower. That's when my phone beeps.
Shota Aizawa: you are coming in to work right?
Me: Of course. We talked about this last night.
Shota Aizawa: Yes. I know. I just thought you would change your mind.
Me: Why would think that?
Me: Oh yeah...
Me: anyway, what's going on?
Shota Aizawa: All Might won't be in today to help out. The students were really excited to see him. We have 13 but we need someone else to replace All Might.
Me: Yeah, I'll be there. See you in 30. Before you go, I have a question.
