The sports festival was near. We were just getting started.

"Lap 3, go!" I shout as I blow on the whistle which sends the kids off. I watch as they begin to race each-other. "Ah! Kacchan! Mirage said using your quirk was not allowed!" I hear Midoriya yell as he picks himself up off the ground. "Shut the hell up, loser!" Bakugo yells back at him before running away. "Bakugo! You are out! Go to the bleachers!" I yell in the microphone as I wave my hand. "WHAT THE HELL, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!" I just nod my head over to the bleachers. Surprisingly, he walks over aggressively to the bleachers. I checked the time on my watch. We have only a few hours left to practice. Tomorrow is the sports festival. "Worried about Aizawa?" Midnight asks walking up behind me. She's drenched with sweat, her body obviously worn out from practice with the kids. "What makes you think that?" I chuckle lightly as I begin to mark down scores on the students. "Well... You've been checking your phone constantly. Plus, you've been messaging Mic." My cheeks heat up immediately. "I just feel bad for not being there with him." I feel a hand on my back. My eyes glance over to her. "It's going to be okay. He wanted you here with the kids. You can visit him tonight." She leans froward to hug me. I hug her back, sighing into her shoulder. "Mirage! Help me!" I hear Midoriya screaming in hear as I then see Bakugo after him shooting flames at him. I immediately stand up, "Bakugo! Why do you do this every time?!" I hear Midnight chuckle as she follows right behind me.

"I'm clocking out." I yawn as I swipe my teachers card. "Hey Misa! Are you excited for tomorrow?" Nezu raises his voice from his desk. My hand stops mid way. My heart steady. "Yes. The kids are ready, I think. It's just been hard for them since..." I stop, my lips trembling. Harsh images of Aizawa being crushed multiple times fill my brain once again. "I know, but this will be good for them. They are focused on this. You guys did all that you could." I turn to him, my bag hanging off my shoulder. "All Might and Eraser-Head did. I didn't do anything good enough. That's my fault, sir." I silently curse at myself as I then feel a tear stream down my cheek.

Principal Nezu shakes his head. "That's not true." He stands up on his desk and jumps over it to walk over to me. "You are here even though you are in extreme pain,

"I'm not in extreme pain-

"You are. Soulmates with Shouta Aizawa? He's still in the hospital. Why aren't you there?"

I remain silent staring down at this rat...mouse...being...

"Connected Touch? Wow.. I couldn't even imagine how much that would feel-

"What does this have anything to do with the kids?" I snap not wanting to hear anymore. He smiles softly. "You chose to be here. Not only for them and their safety but for Aizawa's as well. You care about them." He pushes past my legs to open the door for me.

"Can I have the honor to walk you to the front?" He asks politely. I couldn't help but smile at his positive energy. I need to feel happier. "You may, sir."

We walk down the hall in silence for a moment.
"How is Aizawa?" He asks.

I didn't know how to put it. It has been strangely awkward between him and I. Just knowing that we are meant to fall in love has really set this wall between us. Not like there wasn't a wall there before...

"I'm actually supposed to pick him from the hospital today. He's going home tonight. Other than that, he's better. He just wants to get back to work." Nezu nods just head. "I'm proud of him. He's a good man." I smile looking down.

"He is.. he amazes me everyday."

We finally reach the front door. "Well... Please be here at 5. You are always late." My cheeks burn in embarrassment. "I-I'm working on that." He nods backing away. "Have a good night. Tell Mr. Aizawa that I said hello!" I wave goodbye as I then walk out of the building.

The wind hits me immediately as the sun begins to set on time. I sigh to myself as I walk to the taxi that waits for my arrival. "To the West hospital please." I step in, tossing my bag in the next seat. Once he begins to drive, I lean my head back.

I wish I could take a long break alone. I've never had this much conflict in my life before.. well, not like this.

I wonder how Aizawa is going to act like with me tonight. A couple of weeks ago, we had a moment.. just laying in his hospital bed as we talked all night til we got caught together. Just seeing him smile and laugh his ass off at old high school stories that we shared. You never catch him like that, ever! However, that next day he acted like that never happened. One moment he cares, then he's mad at me for literally breathing in his general direction or in the same room.

The hospital already added me to his emergency contact list as his "wife". This was when they found out about our soulmate connection when we had our surgeries. I remember waking up to all the girl nurses congratulating me for finding my soulmate. Then, I was rewarded cheap, hospital cheesecake.

Aizawa told me that the male nurses entered his room to give him "guy" advice on marriage, jealousy, and sex. Apparently, they all thought he was a "virgin". I laughed for 20 minutes over that when I found out. Aizawa didn't find it funny as he then didn't tell me the rest of the story.

"We're here. That will be $6.70." My cheeks flush up as I quickly take out a $20. I step out of the taxi, waving goodbye as he rushes off.

"Okay Misa... It's going to be alright!" I tell myself out loud as I walk towards the hospital. It's not like he is supposed to be husband. It's not like we are written in the stars as the Gods decided that he will be my lover. Noooo, it's nothing like that! It's not like he still has this grudge against me that's making him not have any feelings towards me yet. Which means we will both suffer in pain until we. fall. in. LOVE!

"Excuse ma'am? How may we assist you?" I finally notice her shaking hand at my face. "Yes! I am here to pick up, Shouta Aizawa." I smile lightly. "How are you related to him?" She asks typing on her computer. I remain silent. "Uh," How the fuck am I supposed to say this? "He... Um, well, he-

"She's his wife! Newly married! Haha!" My heart drops as I then All Might push Aizawa out in a wheelchair. Aizawa's face is burning bright red as he looks extremely pissed. "No we're fucking not-

"Oh! You're right! I finally see his file! He is good to go, here are some bandages just in case. Have a good night and congratulations!" I quickly take the bandages as I then walk up to them. "What the hell was that for?" I slap Toshinori's arm. He lets out a laugh. "I support you both! I am very happy!" I hear Aizawa scoff in his seat. Once we step outside, Toshinori changes to his normal form. "Why were you late?" Aizawa snaps looking up at me. "That wouldn't have happened if you were here early." I snap my head looking down at him. "Don't be a jerk! I was in a taxi to arrive here, blame him!" Aizawa's eye twitches in anger. He stops All Might from moving him anymore as he stands up. I immediately stop my sudden anger as I walk up closer to him to catch him
from falling. But he steps back, his arms up. "That's why I told you to take my car this morning. I even gave you the keys." I frown as I then look in my purse. I immediately notice the little cat keychain and his car keys that are hooked together. "Ohhh." Aizawa scoffs shaking his head. He plops back down in his chair, his head in his hands.

"You guys are already fighting like a married couple." Toshinori laughs pushing Aizawa to his car. I follow behind them, arms crossed, as I begin to blush...

"Well, I'll let you guys be. Drive safe!" Aizawa stands up as he reaches for the car door handle to stabilize. Toshinori switches back to his hero form as he takes the wheelchair in his hands as he speeds towards the hospital.

"I'm driving." Aizawa states walking towards the other side. "Um, no you're not." I chuckle shaking my head. "Yes. I am. It's my car." His eyes burn into me as we stand at both opposite sides of the car. "You are still in pain. You were literally just in a wheelchair."

It is now silent between us.
"Please. I don't want to feel helpless anymore." My heart immediately broke. "Here, take it." I quickly pass the keys to him. He gets in the driver seat as I get into the passenger seat.

"So naive..." he whispers chuckling to himself. I whip my head to him. "Asshole!" I cry out feeling like a total idiot for trusting him. He smiles, proud of himself as he starts the car.
