Jess's POV:
After Dianne ran out Andrew raced out too I looked behind me as I heard Andrew shout wait to see a strain of red hair escape behind the door. I looked back at the TV and raced out after them leaving Billy and Mia to watch Joe. We finally found her on the beach "Dianne I am so sorry I forgot and I just wanted to show Mia and Billy some of the adventures we had been on" I puffed as I came to a stop. "no it's ok you have been friends with Joe for years and he has looked after you it's not your fault" she looked at me with sadness in her eyes I embraced her in a massive hug before we decided to head back as it was getting late.
Dianne's POV:
It was now the next day and we were all going down to the beach to have some fun. Mia and Billy were building sandcastles with Jess and Brandon and Andrew were playing a game we use to play when we were young I joined in of course. "Aunty Dot look what we made" Mia calls from the bank I turned around to see this amazing sand castle it was taller than Mia and almost taller than Jess, it had lots of little windows and a little door and you could see multiple floors with lots of little intricate designs and little flags at the top. "wow did you guys make this?" I asked surprised at how amazing it looked. "well Jess made it we sort of helped" I turned to Jess in surprise this sandcastle that looked like those professional ones for competitions was made by Jess "you made this?" "with Mia and Billy's help of course" Jess smiled as the rest of the family walked over to see what was going on, they walked over and saw the sandcastle and their jaws dropped "who made this?" Brandon asked Mia and Billy pointed to Jess "oh my have you ever thought of entering a sandcastle building comp before" Mum asked Jess shook her head as to say no. after taking pictures of Jess's castle we all decided to go for a swim we went out and splashed water at each other and chased each other around in the water when someone fell over we would all laugh. We were having so much fun that we forgot about lunch we all hoped out and had a nice sausage sizzle which dad had cooked earlier on the BBQ, we sat around talking about how things have changed and getting to know more about Jess the more I found out about her the more I started to realise that Jess is really all on her own she may have a roof over her head and a bed to sleep in but that is all she has, she explained how her parents always bought things for her brothers and sisters and told them they had to share with each but not her, and how her father would always pick on her even if he wasn't drinking, and how her siblings have tried everything to help her but each time they get grounded and told not to help her as she is a disgrace to the family. She explained how every chirstmas she would be shipped off to England or to others, we all felt sorry for her and invited her to come or call whenever she needed. After lunch we got right back into the water and played games like catch the ball or swimming races which was really fun, Jess suggested this game that her and her dance friends played last time they were at the beach called Dance frisbee, the rules were simple you catch the frisbee you dance and you throw frisbee you dance. The game turned out to be so fun we all loved dancing so that bit was easy the catching not so much I got hit in the face a few times but we all laughed. Today was a great day.
Andrew's POV:
We spent hours playing dance frisbee thanks to Jess but it was way to much fun. I threw the disk to Dianne who turned to throw it to Jess when her phone rang "hang on guys I have to get this" Jess turned to pick up her phone and ran off we continued to play for a little while longer, when Jess came back excited "guys I have some good news" we all looked at her confused. "I got into Relavent dance company" we all ran over and hugged her and congratulated her "I have got to call Zoe and Alfie and of course Joe, he will love to hear about his and he will be excited I have to ring him" she got Joe's contact up all excited as we watched her run of yelling Joe Joe guess what guess what, I looked over at Dianne and saw her face drop "hey Dot are you ok" I asked wrapping one arm around her "yes just hard I miss him but he hurt me but he means everything to Jess I want her to be happy" she sighed before walking away.
