soulmates-a Joe and Dianne love story

Internationals day 4

Joe's POV:

Day 4 that means there is only three days left until this is all over Jess's small group was on today Jess told me and Dianne that the song for the small group was a song sung by someone we would know. I have been vlogging everything and Jess has stolen the camera a few times like when they locked us on the Ferris wheel, she has also brought her own so there is a mixture of me vlogging and Jess vlogging. I woke up after Dianne this morning she was pacing up and down the room "what wrong Di." she looked over at me and walked over and sat on bed facing me " I fly to Australia on Monday what if I forget something." she looked at me worried "you won't forget anything remember Jess will be getting on the same plane as you to go to the interview" Dianne smiled and came and snuggled in next to me. we lay there for ages when we heard a knock on the door then it opened "what the Joe someone's in our room" Dianne squirmed closer "don't worry it's probably just a cleaner" soon we heard them grow closer our hearts racing "oh how cute how come I wasn't invited" soon Jess came around the corner and sat on the end of the bed. "Jess you scared us" she starting laughing before getting up and walking over to my bag and grabbing out one of my Sugg life jumpers "what are you doing?" I asked her while Dianne started giggling "I'm cold I thought I would come in here and get a jumper" I looked at her before shaking my head and disbelief. 

Dianne's POV: 

the morning had been so good snuggling up to Joe and just talking to Jess but now we are going to watch Jess's small group compete. they called the studio up and the music started playing Joe filming it I turned to Joe "is that Conor's song" Joe turned to me and nodded with a huge smile as Turn around started playing "there you go Conor enjoy this". the dance finished and everyone stood up and clapped and cheered. we decided to stay and watch a few more before going to find Jess and the others. we got backstage to find Jess's team standing in a circle as we walked over we saw someone on the floor when all of a sudden paramedics came rushing through with a stretcher, we ran over to take a look as we got closer we saw Jess laying on the floor unconscious Joe ran over and knelt down beside her as I went and stood next to Jess's friend Salex. "what happened?" I asked " Cara happened" the paramedics stuck Jess on the stretcher and started wheeling her out to the ambulance Joe still holding onto her hand. we all walked out with them as they loaded Jess into the back Joe arguing with them to let him come as well they wouldn't let him and told Miss Katie to get in with her. the ambulance drove off everyone watching in tears. everyone started to walk inside again I made it to the door and turned around to see Joe still standing and staring in the direction the ambulance had left in with Tears flowing down his face, I slowly walked over and hugged him "she is going to be ok Joe" he said nothing and continued staring.

Joe's POV:

Dianne decided we were going to get a cab and make our way to the hospital. we got there and asked to see Jessica we walked into her room and all the bad memories of 11 years ago came flooding in, I ran over to Jess and cried in her hands "how did I let this happen to you again?" Dianne walked over and rubbed my back and got down with me and grabbed Jess's other hand "hey sweetie when you wake up from this little coma we will be right here" Dianne started to sob soon a nurse came Into the room "are you the parents?" she asked looking at me and Dianne. "N-N-No, they won't come if you ring" I said tears falling down my face the nurse then left "what do you mean they won't come if you ring?" Dianne asked looking concerned " they won't come to anything for Jess no matter what it is they do not care" I looked over at Jess " I am such a bad friend I let this happen again I promised you I wouldn't" Dianne rubbed my back and leaned her head on me "no your not". soon we were kicked out as visting hours were over and Dianne took me back to the hotel. "what did you mean I let this happen again" she looked at me with confusion I sighed and started " when I was in my last year of school Jess had come back home from dance late and her dad was drunk as normal he got really made at her for being late and smashed her head against the wall, he knocked her out cold that her half her brain stopped working Jess's sister saw the whole thing and called the ambulance then called my mum and dad to tell them what happened, at the time Zoe was home and I was at school when the principal called me up to the office and told me that Zoe was coming to pick me up and I won't be at school for the next week, soon we were at the airport I thought we were just going on holiday but Zoe, mum and dad were all sad after we boarded they told me what happened and that we were going to see Jess, I cried the whole way there when we got there the anger all built up and I lashed out at her dad and told him to stay away from her, he didn't care and neither did her mum we then went to the hospital and I sat next to Jess and cried seeing her lay there lifeless, visiting hours came to an end and they dragged me out and away from her we went back to Jess'a place and ran up to my room and cried, at about 10 at night I snuck out and ran to the hospital and broke in through Jess windowed and slepted at the end of her bed, it was at the point that I promised her I would never let this happen again."

Dianne's POV:

Joe had told me the story of what happened to Jess years ago and it hit me this poor kid has had no support at home and now she is in hospital with no family. I started crying too making Joe even more upset. soon enough it was dark and we had cried ourselves to sleep tomorrow we were going to see Jess again.
