Joe's POV:
"Today's the day I feel nerves what if she said no then that would be humiliating and now Jess is here, injured may I add I don't want to put any pressure on myself but, Jess loves Dianne I can't let this be the reason they don't spend time together." I was soon broken out of my trance by Dianne's alarm going off for Dianne to get up I looked over to see the beautiful red head as she turned to face me "Morning how come your up so early" she stretched before snuggling into the side of me. "oh just thought I would make you pancakes before you go." She slowly got up and walked to the bathroom to get changed I jumped up and ran down stairs to see Jess on the couch "what are you doing here Jess" she looked up at me and tried to smile the bruising on her face looked worse. "oh I needed a drink" I nodded before going and getting the pancakes started for Dianne. It wasn't too long until Dianne came bouncing downstairs. I passed her plate and kissed her forehead "happy anniversary Di" she smiled before kissing my check "happy Anniversary Joseph." Jess joined us at the island and we ate all together before Dianne had to go to training, she got up kissed my check and hugged Jess before grabbing her bags and walking out the door. "how you feeling Joe?" Jess said turning to face me the look on my face said it all "don't worry she will say yes trust me" she said before going and getting changed.
Dianne's POV:
I had been watching the clock all day I just couldn't wait to get back home to Joe and spend our anniversary together Joe said that he could get Caspar to come and get Jess so we would be alone. Finally the time had come for me to get back home and I was excited I was leaving earlier than normal to be able to spend time with Joe. I walked past the other Pro's as they smiled at me. I was finally home as I burst through the door to see a fancy dressed Joe. I was now dressed I was wearing a nice a short navy blue dress with natural make up. I walked downstairs to see Joe now smiling he came over and held his hand out to help down the last few stairs "you look beautiful" he said before opening the door for me. He took me to a nice little restaurant with a lovely view we had talked and laughed all night before Joe took me by the hand and dragged me out into the garden. It was so pretty with a white concrete gazebo with little fairy lights all around it, Joe lead me up the stairs as slow music started to play we swayed to the music mt head resting on his shoulder and his head resting on mine. Soon the music came to a stop and Joe seemed to start to get nerves before I knew Joe took my hands in his, "Dianne I am so happy I meet you and every moment with you is so much fun, and I am so glad that Strictly paired us together I love you Dianne Buswell and will never stop, I love every moment we have spent together." I smiled but before I could say anything Joe knelt down on the floor and pulled out a black box he opened it to show a ring with a little love heart on it "Dianne Buswell will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me." I looked at the ring and at Joe stunned I didn't know what to say I love him too but what if it was to early. I got lost in my thoughts when I snapped back to see a worried look on Joe's face oh no I have to say something "YES" I yelled he slipped the ring on my finger and stood up as our lips crashed together this is exciting.
Joe's POV:
I was so happy she said yes and I can't wait to spend the rest our lives together we had a lovely night and now we were heading home. I opened the door to see Jess laying on the couch "hey Jess we have some news" I yelled she jumped up and ran over to us excitement in her eyes I looked at Dianne who was really excited to tell Jess "we are engaged" she said Jess ran into our arms and congratulated us. We ended up ending the night there before telling every one tomorrow.
