Ninth Glimmer: Mighty

She slowly lifted both of her hands with her palms facing the night sky. It was dark, and even the stars were not out tonight. She had to rely on her own glimmer to see her road home. She smiled as flames erupted from both of her hands.
"You're glowing," a voice said.
She turned around and faced the owner of the voice.
"Only my hands are glowing," she replied calmly.
"You don't fight fairly."
She smirked. "It's not my fault that I am gifted with your weakness," she said quietly.
"As it is not my fault that I am gifted with yours."

I woke up with a start and frowned. Ever since that night, my dreams became more vivid—as if I were really in the scenes. And when I woke up, all my energy seemed to have been drained.
I reached for the bottled water I kept next to me on the bedside table. I drank everything and realized it was not enough. I was about to stand up and get another one when I felt the bottle become heavier. I held it up and almost dropped it when I saw it filled with water.
My hand was shaking, but I drank the water, anyway. Still, it was not enough to quench my thirst. And every time I drank it all, the bottle would be filled with water again.
OMG.
I made water appear. Wait, correction. I did not make it appear. My desire for water made it appear.
I sat on the bed, still trying to process what was happening.
"But I'm normal," I muttered.
Yes, I had no magic. Or Glimmer. Or whatever.
I immediately glanced at my window. The tree branches tapped the glass. I did not get scared easily, but a shiver went up my spine. The branches were wailing as if calling me out. I stood up and headed for the window. I opened it, and the sounds became more apparent... as if the trees were talking to me, telling me about something.
They were calling my name.
Just then, I heard an e-mail notification from my laptop. Weird. I turned it off before going to bed.
I opened the mail and read the contents.
He finally met the one he was searching for.
However, the cruelty of the Fates did not end there.
There was a wall between them.
Would he be strong enough to break the wall?
Or would she forever stay away from him?
I gritted my teeth and sent a reply immediately.
I think it would be better if she stayed away from him. What is he? A stalker? He must be out of his mind, trying to mess up with her quiet life. Just like you.
I did not know the whole story, but the sender of this e-mail seemed to be playing tricks on me. And I was not having any of that.
I received a reply just as quickly as I sent one.
I see that you are awake right now, communing with your calling. However, it does not matter what you think.
... unless what you think is far greater than what the Fates have thought for her.
