13| Getting Bullied And Protecting The One You Love

Akami's POV 🔮

While Jin and I were getting pelted by rocks, I heard one of them laughing as they continued to pelt us with more and more rocks.

"Weaklings! Shit-faces! Fuckheads!" I heard one of them say.

"You're so stupid and ugly, you motherfucking assholes! Why don't you go to hell, you cocksucking sons of bitches!!!" I heard another one say.

Then I noticed one of them was looking closely at me.

"Hey...Wait a minute! Isn't that "The Insane Lucario" we've been hearing about?" One of them said to the other.

Another one looked closely at me too.

"It is! If we kill him, we could be heroes." A third one said.

"Yeah! Let's kill him!" A fourth one agreed. "We could use his head as a trophy!"

Then they all nodded in agreement and started to pelt me with bigger and more sharper rocks.

This is getting out of hand.

And my head is bleeding more than ever.

If this keeps up, I'll pass out from blood loss.

"STOP IT!!! QUIT PICKIN' ON US!!!" Jin yelled at them.

One of them hurled a larger rock in my direction.

Jin suddenly got in the way and got hit in the chest as she protected me from it.

"Don't get in our way, you witch!!!" I heard one of them yell while Jin continued to protect me. "We're gonna become heroes once we kill "The Insane Lucario" that you're shielding!"

"HE'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK AND BELIEVE THAT HE IS! THE LEGEND IS FALSE!!!" Jin yelled.

"How do you know?! Did you give birth to him or something else like that?!" One of them shot back.

"No! I didn't give birth to him or anything else that you think is going on in your stupid, tiny, little brains right now!!!

I took him in because he was on the verge of dying from dehydration and starvation!" Jin shot back.

A few of them went quiet before they gave Jin death stares.

"Stuff it!" One of them said. "We don't care about useless pokémon like him! It's best if he's better off dead!"

Jin stared back at them enraged as she clenched her fists while tears full of anger started to appear in her eyes and run down to the sides of her face.

"How would you feel...If you were someone like him?!" Jin began.

"Weak, hungry, thirsty, on the verge of dying, and all alone in the world with no friends or family to help or support you?

Just so you can survive and live out there in the wild?!?!?!"

Then the people who were throwing rocks at us went completely quiet again.

"I've had enough of this!" One of them (who seems to be the leader) snarled. "That Lucario is gonna die no matter what! Even if the legend is true or false!!!"

Jin held me close in defense and in protection.

"Killing him is not gonna solve anything! You'll make it worse!!" Jin shrieked.

"I don't care! But, since you're in my way, you'll have to die as well!!!" The leader shot back before hurling a knife at us.

"NO!" I screamed in fear.

Jin was too late when she tried to protect me again.

The knife impaled me through the chest as I collapsed.

"AKAMI!" I heard Jin cry out as she ran to me.

Blood started to appear and run down the corners of my mouth while tears ran down the sides of her face when I looked at Jin.

I lifted a shaky paw before resting my paw on the left side of her cheek as I brushed the tears away from her face before smiling weakly at her.

"Please...Don't...cry...Jin...." I coughed out. "...I...promise....you...that...I-I'll....try....to....stay....alive....as...long...as...I...can...."

"O-Okay....Akami....." Jin sniffed while she still looked at me tearfully. "...But, just remember that I still love you..."

I smiled weakly again before I blacked out.
