15| Meeting Korrina And Her Lucario

Jin's POV 🌸

I stared at her in shock.

"The gym leader of Coumarine City?!" I asked, still in shock.

Korrina smiled as she nodded.

"Yup. That's me!" Korrina replied.

"Oh, wow! It's a pleasure to meet you too." I replied back.

"Now, you were mentioning something about another Lucario?" Korrina asked.

"Oh. Right. I forgot about that...Whoops!" I realized as I blushed a little and rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment.

"The reason why I was asking for a another Lucario is because my Lucario has lost a lot of blood...

And Nurse Joy needed another Lucario to give mine a blood donation so my Lucario's blood level can be restored back to normal." I explained as Korrina and I headed to the treatment room.

Korrina looked through the treatment room window to see what was going on.

When she noticed the injuries Akami had, she was shocked.

"Is that your Lucario over there?" Korrina asked.

I nodded my head.

"Yeah. That's him. His name's Akami..." I said.

"What on earth happened to him?" Korrina asked as she looked at me.

I explained every detail of what happened to us before we got here.

"Man. Of all people out there in the world, they definitely are really rotten...I can't believe that they would be curel enough to do this to him..." Korrina said.

I nodded.

"Yeah. And curel enough to hurt me too." I replied. "Their leader's already been taken care of, I'm still really angry that they called me names and treated me and Akami like dirt...."

"Well, don't let that get you down...There's gonna be mean people everyday." Korrina said.

"Yeah. You're right about that. Thanks!" I said as I started to smile.

Korrina smiled back.

I think I'm already making friends with her.

Then Korrina took out her pokéball and called out her Lucario.

Korrina's Lucario looked a tiny bit tired after probably having a battle with one of the trainers, but I can tell that it was still full of energy.

"Lucario, I'd like you to meet Jin." Korrina said as she introduced me to Lucario.

"Well, hello there! Pleasure to meet you too..." I said as I got down to Lucario's level and petted it on the head.

I putted in "it" because Jin doesn't know what gender Korrina's Lucario is. And it feels kinda weird when I put in "Korrina's Lucario" or something else like that.

Lucario smiled at me, as it closed it's eyes, enjoying the spot where I was petting it at.

Korrina chuckled a little after seeing Lucario's reaction.

"Aww. So cute." I gushed in adore.

"I hope you're okay with this, Lucario, but we're gonna have you do a blood donation..." Korrina said as she got down to Lucario's level too.

Lucario cocked it's head to the side, looking confused as it probably doesn't know what a blood donation is....

...Or maybe it's wondering why it's gonna do a blood donation for.

I'm not a mind reader or anything else like that but those are my two guesses of what Korrina's Lucario is probably thinking.

"There's a reason why..." Korrina said as she looked at her Lucario in the eyes. "Jin has a Lucario too and her Lucario's lost a lot of blood.

Nurse Joy just wants to borrow you for a bit so she can restore the blood level back to normal.

We can't use human blood to do this but we can do this using pokemon blood."

I nod in agreement.

"She's right. And not only that but it can also save my Lucario's life..." I added in.
