Jin's POV 🌸
Akami quickly shook his head and backed away from me a little.
"No. I don't have one..." Akami replied to me, looking a bit nervous now.
"If you don't have one, then, let me check and see...Because, I'm gonna believe that you do have one if you continue to refuse and act like this..." I said.
Akami sighed a little before he looked at me.
"Okay...Fine then..." Akami replied wearily.
"Thank you..." I said as I started to search through his fur.
While I was body searching Akami, I suddenly noticed that Akami placed both of his paws behind his back.
"Akami...Let me see." I said as I looked at him while I tried to grab one of his paws in attempt to see what he's got.
Akami shook his head.
"Akami, we're not doing this again...Just let me see." I said as I successfully grabbed one of his paws and tried to pry open to see what he's got.
Akami gripped his paw tightly, making it hard for me to pry his paw open and see what he's holding.
"Akami! Just...Let...Me...See!" I said as I continued to struggle with trying to pry his paw open.
"Do you need some help?" Korrina asked.
I shook my head after I finally pried Akami's paw open.
I suddenly noticed something yellow with blue and red in Akami's paw before I reached in and managed to grab it.
It felt so small, cold, and smooth.
Like a marble.
But, before I could pull my hand out after clutching on to the thing that felt like a marble, Akami suddenly gripped his paw shut on my hand like a venus mcflytrap.
"Oww! Akami!!! That hurt!" I shrieked as I winced in pain a little.
"Sorry..." Akami replied silently as he letted out a very small (but cute) whine.
Apparently, Akami doesn't want me to see or know what it is that he has.
I used my other hand to try prying his paw off of my hand.
"I'm gonna need your help with this now, Korrina..." I said as I looked over at her.
Korrina and her Lucario walked over and started to help me remove my hand from Akami's grip.
I kept my grip on the marble-like object (or whatever it is) though and was making sure I didn't let go of it.
After a few minutes had passed, me, Korrina and her Lucario finally got my hand out of Akami's grip successfully.
Lucky for me, my hand was still intact and wasn't broken or anything else like that.
My hand was a little bit purple and numb from where the circulation was cut off and when Akami kept gripping my hand tightly.
But, other than that, at least my hand was still in good condition.
After massaging my hand to make the pain go away (and moving my fingers) for a bit, I opened my hand to see what Akami kept trying to hide from me.
To my surprise, it was a Lucarionite.
I turned around and showed it to Korrina.
"So, Akami does have one! He was just hiding it from you..." Korrina mentioned as she started to chuckle a little.
I looked over at Akami and noticed that he was looking ashamed of himself but blushing a little bit.
"Was is so embarrassing to him?" I wondered thoughtfully.
I went over to Akami and got down to his level.
The face he was giving me gave the impression that he wanted to keep this a secret until the right moment.
I guess that moment was spoiled.
But, at the same time, he was looking really ashamed by it.
Was it because he didn't want to mega evolve?
"Akami..." I began as I sighed a little wearily but feeling strangely calm about this.
Akami looked up at me like as if he was about to cry.
"...I don't know where or how did you get this or why you tried to hide it from me, but...." I held out the stone to him before letting out another sigh.
"I'm sorry..." I said.
