10| Rest

Jin's POV 🌸

After a few minutes went by, Akami was completely healed up.

I took Akami out of the bed, holding him in my arms and close to my chest, as I thanked Nurse Joy for her aid and will stop by again eventually if my pokémon needs their health restored again.

Then Nurse Joy led me out of the room and back to the Poké Center.

After Xavier's pokémon was restored back to health and was returned to him, me and Xavier left and headed back to our homes for the day.

Once I was back in my house, I shutted the door and locked it behind me.

I laid my stuff down on the table and then took my socks and shoes off before getting on the couch and resting there.

Then I looked over at Akami's sleeping/unconscious figure and I started to chuckle a little as I moved Akami up to where his head was resting on my chest before putting the blanket on him, covering my body up as well.

After doing that, Akami curled himself into a ball before relaxing as I started to rub his back soothingly again.

"Akami's so cute when he sleeps like that..." I thought to myself. "...He almost reminds me of a Riolu when he's asleep..."

I started to smile at the thought of that.

How cute!

I suddenly began to yawn a little before rubbing my eyes.

I eventually decided to take a light nap.

Then I dozed off.

After a few hours went by, I suddenly woke up to Akami moving a little.

As I sat up and yawned, I saw Akami beginning to wake up as he slowly began to open his eyes.

I smiled at him after Akami's eyes were fully opened and his gaze was focused on me.

"Hey, Akami. Did you get yourself plenty of rest?" I asked as I started to rub his back soothingly.

Akami smiled and closed his eyes as he nodded his head, enjoying the feeling of my hand rubbing his back soothingly.

I kissed Akami on the forehead as he snuggled up on me a little, with his arms wrapped around my waist.

Then Akami looked back up at me again and then unexpectedly kissed me back.

On the lips!

I looked at Akami in shock and surprise as I blushed a little.

But, I got used to it after a few seconds before kissing him back.

His lips felt so warm and so soft...

It felt so comforting...

I was already enjoying it.

Then Akami parted from my lips for a moment as he crawled on top of me.

I wrapped my arms around the back of Akami's head as we gazed into each other's eyes lovingly.

Then we kissed each other deeply again and remained like that for at least 15 minutes before we parted again.

"I love you, Jin..." Akami murmured as he continued to gaze into my eyes lovingly.

"I love you too, Akami..." I replied as I gazed back into Akami's beautiful, ruby-red eyes, in a lovingly manner too.

Then Akami got off of me for a moment before getting off the couch and standing up.

I sat up on the couch, looking at Akami questionly, wondering what's he doing.

Akami looked like he was thinking for a moment before he looked over at me and then smiled.

"Let's head up to the bedroom..." Akami said as he offered his paw to me.

I took his paw as he helped me up to my feet before guiding me up the stairs, to my bedroom.
