Who am I? (a Steve Randle love story)

Intro

Lilac Curtis is what Steve calls a country girl with a rock n roll side.

Lilac is always smiling even through the tears that threaten to spill. The only ones who can tell when she's sad is Sodapop and best friend, Maya.

Lilac had troubles with her love life. She dated this guy named Ryan West. Except he was a total douche. The gang didn't know how she dated him and why she stayed with him for 7 months. Ryan was a horrible person even to Lilac but she still stayed with him. When he'd go out drinking with his buddies he'd come home mad and drunk and call Lilac words like slut, whore, bitch, and more. But it didn't stop there, he started to hit and punch her when he was drunk and that usually happened everyday. She'd always hide it with make-up. Then one day Darry and Soda got worried when She'd been acting differently.

Ryan smacked Lilac in the face. This basically became a daily thing. He had just came from Buck's, the local greaser bar. She was used to this. This time it didn't even phase her she just stood there and toughed it out. He kept on yelling at her saying "you no good slut why don't you just go fuck yourself" "do you really think you can get anyone else but me cause if you do your wrong" "im the only guy you can get y'know". She finally spoke up "fuck you Ryan" and she ran. She couldn't go home cause her brothers are home so she ran to Buck's. When she finally got there she ran through the door. "Whoa whoa Lilac are you okay" Buck asked concerned. "Yeah" she lied. "Dally's upstairs"
"Thanks, Buck"
She basically flew upstairs right into her good pal, Dally's room.
"Oh my god, Lilac. What happened? Are you okay? Should I call Soda? Or Darry?"
"Don't you dare call them"
"Lilac, what happened"
"R-Ryan's been...beating m-m-me" she stuttered
"Oh my god" he said hugging me
"P-please don't tell anyone"
"I won't but you have to"
"N-no I can't" she cried
"If you don't I will"
"At least give me a few days"

Two hours later
"You should go home, now. You're brothers are probably worried" she has stopped crying now.
"Okay, and thank you Dal"
"Be safe"
"I'll try" she took one of dals sweatshirts and put it on cause she was wearing a t shirt and didn't want her brothers to know whats been happening to her for the last few months.

At the Curtis house
She walked in and ran straight to her room. Literally around two seconds later she heard at least two people run up the stairs. Then she heard a knock on the door and a "Can I come in" from Soda.
"I-I don't wanna talk right now" she said through the door
"Please let us in, Lilac" she heard Darry say
She unlocked the door
Soda ran up to Lilac and gave her a big hug while Darry sat on her bed.
"What's wrong little sis" Darry said. Soda let go of her and she sat down next to Darry and she rolled up her sleeves to reveal bruises from Ryan. They already noticed the bruise on her face.
"Lilac, what happened"she heard from both Darry and Soda
"R-Ryan's been beating me after getting dr-drunk"
"You're okay now, Lilac, I won't let him hurt you again" Soda said. Darry just went out her bedroom door and slammed his fist against the hallway walls
