Chapter 10:

As his lips lied upon hers an explosion of total peace and serenity overwhelmed them both.

Ever-so-lightly Carl moved his lips against Rebecca's, whilst his hands made their way to her waist.

They were in an awkward position, against a wall turned to each other, lips attached. Rebecca wasn't sure what to do. That moment his lips met hers she froze for a split second.

Rebecca copied the movement of Carls lips, slowly learning how to kiss passionately.

The pit of her stomach churned. When Carl tightened his grasp on her waist and pulled her in closer she turned away to take a large breath full of oxygen.

Carl wasn't done though. He pulled her onto his lap and attacked the right side of her neck, peppering the sensitive skin with little kisses that had Rebecca's heart beating like crazy. He found her sweet spot on her neck, just above her collar bone and sucked it, lapping his tongue over it every so often to keep it wet.

No one had ever made Rebecca feel this way before. Her hands trailed themselves up his chest and clutched his shoulders as she moaned quietly in his left ear.

It turned Carl on. Once he was finished leaving a gift on her neck he grabbed her face and forced their lips back together. He moaned at the taste of her lips, they were so sweet and addictive. Every time they parted for a short breath it leaved Carl wanting more and caused him to act more needy, applying more pressure towards her lips, ravishing them up with his.

Suddenly the door swung open, almost flying off of its hinges and smashed against the wall behind it.

The sound frightened Rebecca. She abruptly pulled away, biting Carls lip in the process by mistake. One minute she was on Carls lap and then the next she was shoved off, landing onto the hard ground with a thud.

"What the fuck! You bit me?!" He spat, touching his bottom lip with his fingers, tracing the teeth mark dented in the skin. His lip was bleeding on behalf of Rebecca's clumsiness.

Rebecca apologised and turned to the door, watching Rick rush in with his gun held up ready to shoot. "Get out!" He shouted, turning around and shooting down an ugly walker in which had its finger skim across the material of his shirt before falling to the ground, adding to the number of completely dead walkers.

The pair scrambled up and ran across to Rick. Carl pulled out his gun and Rebecca held her knife tight in front of her, the sharp end pointing away from her body.

Daryl, Glenn, Sasha, Michonne and Carol were all in the large room, shooting down each walker in sight. Carol and Sasha were strangers to Rebecca, she knew nothing about them and hadn't ever spoke to them but it was clear they belonged to the group, playing a large role in protecting everyone.

Minutes ago those walkers were crowding around the door, trapping Carl and Rebecca inside the small room. Now most of them were dead on the floor, blood spilling out from their fresh gun shot wounds. The last few standing walkers weren't alive for much longer, Rick and Carl shot them down fast enough then they could try to take a clumsy step forward.

It all escalated quite quickly. Rebecca didn't help kill any of those walkers, she just stood in the shadows cowering away from the blood bath.

"I think that's all of them," Carol spoke up, wiping her forehead and accidentally smearing blood all over it.

Everyone in the room re-joined and stood in a circle. "Is everyone alright? No one's bit?" Glenn asked. Everyone shook their heads in reply to no.
