Katelyn's POV

Most girls fawn over my boyfriend and somehow he even managed to get a fan club at one point which totally freaked him out. Of course boyfriends don't think it's funny when you laugh at their misfortune, but we weren't even dating at times, so the little prick would seriously make me angry even he'd laugh. If it weren't for him being so cute, he wouldn't have had a mouth to speak out of. It'd be one with his nose, and his nose would be in between his eyes. Of course this would make him ugly and I wouldn't want to date him if I did, but I'm glad that I didn't. Although, I'm not promising that I won't be any girl up that gets too close and friendly with him. I will not tolerate that whatsoever.

Laurance tries to be a good boyfriend. But when your mind is set to do harm, it can become hard to. And when you have a reputation to hold and someone trying to take your spot as the top dog, your girlfriend may not be your top priority.

The thing is, Laurance will be distant at times, and that makes me honestly question if what we have as a relationship is something I honestly want. Then it comes to the point where I must remember that Laurance and I are two different types of angels, and I immediately forgive him once he becomes distant. But when I become distant, I'm in trouble. It pisses me off, but the sweet things he does makes up for it. I go to his games and he goes to my games and even becomes a little cheerleader. It's embarrassing but cute. We'll sneak out of the house at night into some place that we shouldn't be at only to have a picnic.

There are the times I question how he is dark, but those questions soon disappear once I stand by his side around other people. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've had to watch him beat some guy to a pulp only for it to be my fault because I'm too "attractive" or "sexy" even though I didn't do shit for that to be my fault. Men are pigs.

And don't even get me started when it comes to Levi. Levi is a complete and utter dickhead who follows every single command Laurance tells him. He's kind of like Zenix. Zenix does whatever Gene wants him to, and I think it's pathetic. I swear, maybe if their heads weren't so far up Laurance and Gene's asses they'd be able to own more than one brain cell.

It's the last hour of the day, and I just so happen to share a study hall with Laurance. This is a time of the day where we sneak off to somewhere like the library or even some janitor closet for a quick make out session. Or even if Laurance is extremely impatient, it's in the back of the classroom because Laurance honestly doesn't care.

Except today is different, and it bothers me.

Today at lunch he sent Alex over to Aphmau's dumb table in order to introduce herself to Y/N some how and even get under Garroth and Aphmau's skin. Each time she does it, it only pours lemon juice on open cuts to the people that cared most for her. If only he would realize that she isn't only doing damage to them, but she's also doing damage to herself as well. Laurance wouldn't realize this because he's selfish. But I'm selfish too sadly, and it's why we get along so well together.

But since then, Laurance has been acting different. He's not as touchy or talkative, and he has even been lost in thought. What this could be, I honestly don't know. Though I wish I did, he won't tell me. Until he decides to tell anyone, he'll continue to confuse those around him. When Laurance is silent, it scares me. When Laurance is silent, something bad is going to happen.

While reading a new book I had found at the library, sudden light is taken away from me only to have me look up and see Laurance's large figure blocking it off. I roll my eyes and swat at him to move, but he simply laughs and remains still. He knows this makes me angry, but he does it anyway.

"Let's go to the library," he tells me, his arms draped over his chest. I look up only to meet eyes with Laurance. His eyes have always been so different from those around him. The color is beautiful, but they're cool and scary. It's like they could look straight into your soul and thoughts. And with what I think of half the time, I think it's best he stays out of my thoughts. "I think it's time for you to get a new book."

"I've just got a new book during homeroom today, Laurance." It was true. I had gotten one today to read due to my old book being due and finished. I try to continue to read, but Laurance takes the book off my desk shutting it and places it above his head.

He knows how unfair this is to me because he's almost as tall as Garroth or Aaron, and they're the tallest males I know. I don't wish to know Garroth, but Aaron just barely tops him on height. Laurance is just under Garroth for height, and it's honestly annoying. I want my boyfriend to be taller than that idiot because he's better than him. It almost looks like Laurance and Garroth are the same height, but they've never been next to each other enough for anybody other than a select few to say that Garroth is taller. We only see this once they're squaring each other up.

"Well too bad. Get another book while we're there for all I care," he snaps at me, making me bite my tongue and make my finger nails going into the flesh of my hand so I don't hit him. He grabs onto my wrist and leaves, holding the book up so the teacher knows where he's going, and I'm casually being dragged against my will to the library.

Like I said before, Laurance has been acting extra strange today.

He sits me down in one of the chairs in the far back and props his feet up in the table in front of him, growing annoyed as I look for another book. If I'm going to be here, I'm going to look for another book if he likes it or not.

Once I find my book, I check it out and over to where he was sitting. I sit extremely close to him and open the cover up, the title, author, and dedication in the very first page I see. Laurance growls and takes the book out of my hand only to sit on it. I gasp and scold him for it, but it's no use because he just doesn't care.

"Katelyn, I was thinking," he starts off, irritated with me and my actions. "You know what I was thinking? I was thinking that Y/N should be on our side. If Aphmau doesn't turn her as it is, I'm going to turn her. I've already sent Sasha after her, and she'll be attending my party tonight as a plus one." Laurance sees the confusion on my face and places his hand against my cheek, kissing the other one softly. "Baby, we need to take a mini break because of this. I want to turn Y/N either corrupt or dark, and sadly our relationship has to be put on hold because of it."

I slap his face, yelling at him not to touch me again only to be shushed by the librarian. It's clear to see she doesn't care due to her reading some sex filled book that shouldn't even be in the school but she brought in anyway. How dare he break up with me for some plan.

"I know you're mad, but Y/N reminds me of my sister. Alex had only wanted to help me turn pure, but the idiot didn't realize that she was only hurting herself in the long run. Y/N will fall into this same trap. So until my plan is successful, we're on hold. Don't take it too seriously doll," Laurance cooes, his face mimicking my pained expression. "This hurts me too but don't be too surprised if I stop by for a quick session or anything." He looks up at the clock only to smirk and count down from four and the bell to ring. "That's my sign to leave and greet our new guest. I'll leave you later sexy."

He winks at me and leaves. I'm left behind in absolute anger. But come anger comes revenge. And by my name being Katelyn Firefist, I will have my revenge.

You better watch your back Laurance Zvahl. I'll only be a small portion as of why your plan will fail, and you'll lose more on your side.

I hope you're happy.
