Third Person POV

Days pass, and it felt as though it was finally becoming normal. Aphmau felt as though the dark and corrupted angels had listened to her and would stay away from Y/N, and that her pure angels would stay away from them. Especially who she thought would be poison. She had come to the conclusion that the long that Alex would be in the picture the higher the chance of losing any more pure angels.

She didn't want to lose someone like Vylad, Liv, and she especially didn't want to lose Y/N. Why would she want to lose someone she had so easily won over to protect? Whoever wasn't her angel type was bad. They would all have dark intentions and hurt whoever was around them. She was simply making sure that nobody would get hurt and everyone knew their place. Why? Because she cared.

"Y/N, how are you fairing everyone here?" Aphmau had only meant a third of whom really had gone to Phoenix Drop High. She smiled at Y/N. It was a kind smile. It was a smile that a mother would give to a child. A loving, soft, smile. Y/N was almost like a child to Aphmau as strange as it had sounded. She wanted to protect her.

"Everybody seems nice," Y/N replies, not sure of how to respond. Some people she met were sweethearts while others she had some kinda of interest in. But she could honestly admit, some just scared her. "I'm making more friends."

The smile on Aphmau's face fails to fade at Y/N's words. She knew that introducing her to her own friends would have the end result of Y/N having a bunch of friends.

"And what about Vylad?" She questions, lifting an eyebrow ever so slightly. Aphmau was a tad bit of a matchmaker, and she thought that it was time for Vylad to get a girlfriend. And who else would best fit the role for it other than Y/N? Alex? That was bizarre in every pure angel's mind. Well, every pure angel's mind but a select few. "You seem to be hitting it off. Why don't you see where it'll take you? That's how Garroth and I had gotten together. A simply kiss in his backyard and-well-you know the rest."

A small wink presents itself on Aphmau's face, and Y/N quickly becomes uncomfortable with it. I mean, who wouldn't. Y/N wasn't sure what Aphmau meant by that, but she was praying that it wasn't something sexual.

"I'm not really looking for a boyfriend right now. . ." Y/N didn't know what to say, and she was thankful for when she heard screaming and yelling. As strange as it sounded, it relieved her of the fact that she would have to respond to what Aphmau would have a come back with.

Aphmau pouts and rolls her eyes, unamused by Y/N's response and when a brown haired person comes running straight by them in a hurry. They brush up against Y/N's arm, and she shrieks when she notices what was left behind. That angel was Cloud. Aphmau only looks down at her arm in disgust and mumbles something about how horrid dark angels were.

'Blood doesn't randomly pop up out of anywhere, and people don't just run away from things for no reason,' Y/N ponders, wrinkling her nose at her arm.

She looks up to see people rushing towards what is now a large group of people formed in a circle around some event. Curiosity formed inside of her, and she looks up and Aphmau, who was annoyed, and feels as though she's asking for permission to see what had happened.

Aphmau nods her head. "I guess we'll have to see what happened. Although, it must be nothing other than a fight. . . and a waste of our time." Aphmau's mumbling words go unheard once Y/N hears the okay to go and drags Aphmau over to the crowd, pushing people aside to get to the front. Pure angels, however, moved in Aphmau's presence to give her a walk way.

What lays before them all leaves Y/N to gasp as she tries her best to hold back what could almost be vomit coming up her throat. Aphmau turns around frantically and snaps her fingers, claps her hands, and forces people to retrieve Garroth for her as others go and grab nurses and teachers.

Laurance looks up at the two pure angels and drops the wrist he was holding. "You two!" He yells, angered as tears threatened to fall from his eyes. He felt them pricking in the back of his eyes, and his voice was cracking and shaky. Katelyn turns around the corner and begins to panic when she looks at the scene in front of her. "I told you before, and I'll have to tell you again. Leave our kind alone! How many people need to be affected because you can't keep to yourself and continue to want a fight? Huh?!"

Y/N looks down at the blood and questions if she either wants to cry, scream, or faint. All three sounded like an amazing option to her. She ends up dropping down to her knees and holds onto the male's hand, frowning at how he was unconscious.

Footsteps happen from behind them all, and the sudden sound of gasps for air is heard. Y/N didn't need to turn her head around to know who was behind her. She knew exactly what three angels had ended up hearing the news and went to check it out for themselves.

Aphmau takes a step forward, only fazed by the male, but not by Laurance. "Leave our kind alone, and maybe we wouldn't have this problem. We're not the problem. You are."

Y/N feels a hand on her shoulder, and she sees a teach staring down at her, trying to get her to get up and help leave the area. Y/N refuses but is forced to get up anyway. The others are forced too, but in the way out Y/N can't help but look back once again.

The blood that would stain the cracks on the floor. The cuts and scraps and bruises present on the bodies. The fact that she couldn't help them when she had the chance. If only she wouldn't known.

If only she would've know, they wouldn't have been dead.

If only she would've know, Alex and Vylad would still be alive.
