Rudy is getting ready to graduate from Monserrat College of Art and was starting to get nervous.
He straightened out his green necktie which went very well with his white shirt and khakis. Rudy put on his black cap and gown over his clothes and checked himself in the full length mirror at the back of the bedroom door.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." said Rudy as he combed his hair.
A few minutes later, Penny came in the bedroom wearing a sea-foam green dress, white sandals and her long red hair was in natural curls and a beige sunhat.
"You look very handsome." said Penny as she hugged her fiancé.
"Thank you sweetie. And you look very beautiful." said Rudy.
Penny went over to her vanity table and packed some extra lipstick and mascara.
She already packed tissues in her purse because she was gonna be crying tears of joy when she sees Rudy walk across the stage to get his degree in art.
Rudy's parents drove all the way from Plainville to Boston to see their son graduate from college.
"I haven't been this emotional since we went to your high school graduation." said Millie as she dried her tear from her eye.
"I'm proud of you son." said Joe as he patted Rudy on the back.
The family got in Penny's car and started to drive to the college.
Three hours later, The Tabooties took Rudy and Penny out to dinner to celebrate after the ceremony was over.
"I'd like to propose a toast. To Rudy who worked so hard to get his degree in Art." said Penny as she clinked her water glass with her fiancé.
"Thank you everyone." said Rudy.
