*Ash's Point is View* (again haha)
The next day-
At the Pokémon school, Professor Kukui tells the class that they are going to have a beach day. So the class changes into their bathing suits and heads down to the beach.
Me and Serena are walking down the beach together, when Mallow and the girls call Serena over to them.
"Hey Ash, they're calling me," Serena said, "we can build a sandcastle later, bye!"
Serena walks off to go play with the girls in the water.
I see Sophocles building a sandcastle with his Pokémon and Kiawe telling his Marowak to stop digging so many holes because people keep tripping. I run over to him because I have a few questions about my... feelings? I'm not sure.
"Hey Kiawe!" I say, "can I ask you a question?"
"Sure," he says, as he lets Marowak go play with the other Pokémon.
Kiawe and I sit down on the sand and I tell him everything. How I can't exactly describe how I feel about Serena. I tell him about how she makes my heart beat faster when she's near.
"Wow," says Kiawe, "Ash you are so dense. This is all because you have feelings for her."
"Yeah," I say, "what feelings?"
"Oh my," he says, "let me make it simple for you. You. Like. Serena."
"Like a friend?"
"No no no. You know like more than a friend. Like Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet."
"Oh, so I like her. How have I been so dumb. This whole time. Ever since that night at the Pledging Tree I've been having these feelings."
Wow. I have liked Serena this whole time and I haven't been able to recognize my own feelings.
"Do I tell her?" I ask Kiawe.
"I mean yeah," he replies, "do you think she likes you back?"
I think about it, when one event pops in my head.
"Well," I start off, "right before she left Kalos to go to Hoenn, she ran up the escalator and... kissed me."
Kiawe stares at me with his mouth wide open.
"Serena. Kissed. You." He says, "wow. Okay. She likes you Ash."
"Really?" I say, "when do I tell her? How do I tell her?"
"Well, you could make it a big thing and do it in front of everybody, but I'm not sure that would be the best idea. Or, you could do it privately just you two. "
"Okay, I want to do it privately, but how do I tell her and when?"
"Wow Ash, you have a lot to learn!" He tells me.
