"Ah, good morning Thomas," Logan said. Thomas saved tiredly to the logical side.
"Has everything been... sorted out?" He asked desperately. Logan sighed.
"Virgil, Roman, Patton, won't you please come up here?" He called At that moment Patton and Roman popped up and Virgil appeared out of thin air. Thomas looked at Virgil with a sympathetic yet exhausted expression. Virgil sighed.
"Thomas was wondering if everything was sorted out." He said. Virgil looked to Roman and smirked, but then to Thomas with a straight face.
"We did sort it out, Thomas. It all worked out. You can rest now." Virgil said. Thomas let out a deep sigh, before Remus appeared at Roman's side.
"What are you doing here?!" Logan and Patton yelled in unison. They looked at each other with shock as Remus only laughed.
"Me? Well, I just love showing up where I'm not invited. I"m just here to remind Virgil over here a little message that Deceit wanted him to remember." He said. He cleared this throat and made a piece of paper appear, its edges were torn and the ink bled through the back. Roman looked at Virgil from the other side of Remus.
"Ahem, Virgil, the work you've permitted for us is..." "I'm sorry, but did you just say that I work for you?" Virgil cut in. Remus furrowed his brow.
"Do you not?" He asked. Virgil scoffed.
"Sure, and while I'm at it, why don't I throw out my jacket and wear this t-shirt forever. Get the hell out of here Remus, you don't scare me anymore. You're forever a common cold, you'll never get me back. Now, for the sake of Thomas, go away." Virgil said. Remus was blown into the face, as he glared at the anxious side.
"Get out of here, brother." Roman growled. Logan looked up at the prince with a surprised face. Roman glared at Remus to go away. Remus blew air up to his hair in attempt to get it out of his face, and he looked at Roman with the same glare.
"This won't be my final time here, you still have to learn about one more thing, but that's for later. Toodles!" He said. With that he sauntered vaguely downwards as he left the other sides speechless in front of Thomas, who was looked to all of them as if they were serious.
"Excuse me?" he asked. Virgil and Roman looked nervously to Patton, who looked to Logan for explanation. The logical side fixed his glasses and looked at Thomas square in the face.
"You don't need to learn about such thing right now, especially considering the emotional state you are in. I advise you take a very long, and very needed, slumber. We'll make sure nothing of this sort happens again for the time being." Logan said. Thomas sighed with a smile.
"Thanks you guys. Now I'm... I'm going to sleep." He said. Patton made a blanket appear and threw it to Thomas with a smile.
"Go take a nap, kiddo." He said. Thomas nodded. Virgil gave Thomas a small wave and a smirk. He found himself staring into the far corner by the couch where the camera didn't pan to, where a shadowy figure stood with a white name tag on his chest and sunglasses on his face.
"Let's duck out of here." Virgil said. Logan nodded.
"Absolutely, care to follow, Patton, Princey?" He asked. Patton smiled and nodded eagerly along with Roman.
The three light sides sunk down into the mind palace while Virgil disappeared and reappeared in the same time frame.
"Now, what are we going to do, Logan?" Patton asked. Logan straightened his tie.
"I will be seeing that Thomas gets a good amount of sleep and I will supply him with the correct chemicals he is currently deficient in. Patton, I advise that you let him be, along withVirgil. You both hand a tendency to sway Thomas from slumber to consciousness very easily, and our mutual goal is for him to stay asleep. So I suggest you both retreat to your rooms and continue any miscellaneous things you like to do in such free time. Roman, in a few hours I will give you the okay to open the window for dreams, but if you are too tired from recent events I will gladly keep that window closed." Logan said. Virgil looked to Roman, who smiled and linked his arm with Virgil's right.
"I think I will take up that opportunity, Logan. How about in, five hours?" He asked. Logan whipped up a clip board.
"Yes that seems like your usual format of dreaming. I'll give you a two hour time limit, and make sure not to wake him up." He said. Roman nodded in understanding.
"Of course, thank you again, Logan." He said.
"This is amazing, you two are getting along so well!" Patton exclaimed. Both foils scoffed at the same time.
"Preposterous, there will never be such thing."
"I don't, and will never, like him."
"Okay, okay, calm down Dumbledore and Grindlewald." Virgil said. Roman gasped.
"Did you just make an intentional Harry Potter reference?" He asked. Virgil hunched over and shoved his fists deeper into his pockets whilst trying to suppress a blush.
"Well, it seems as though the love birds are doing fine, therefore, I will be going to my room to engage in my duties. I will see you all later." Logan said. With that, Logan teleported himself into his bedroom, leaving Patton, Roman, and Virgil alone in the main commerce one final time in those few, hectic days.
"I think I'm going to do the same thing, kiddos. Now don't get too hasty, we don't want Thomas to have one of those special dreams on accident, Roman." Patton punched. Virgil groaned as Roman blushed.
"No such thing will take place, I'm sure, Patton. Thank you." Roman said simply. With that and a pinch of Virgil's cheek by Patton, the moral side teleported to his room. This left the Prince and Virgil to themselves.
"Now... what would you like to do, Virg?" Romans asked. Virgil sighed and took off his hood.
"Anything that isn't what Patton said." He said.
"I second that." Roman said. They stood in calm silence while looking at one another, awkwardly. Soon enough, Roman started to laugh nervously, triggering Virgil to start laughing. They both ended up laughing in hysterics, leaning on one another for support.
"What are eh - What are we laughing about!" Virgil exclaimed in the middle of his fit. Roman let out a cackle.
"I have no idea." He said. Virgil hummed as he grabbed the Prince's hand and led him down the hallway to the main room of relaxation and therapy between the sides. Soon enough, Virgil made a TV appear on the wall. Roman grabbed the blanket Virgil had gifted him and threw it over them as Virgil snuggled up into his right side. Roman put an arm around his lover, and kissed the top of his head affectionately.
"What would you like to watch, Virgil?" He asked. Virgil sighed, and tried to dig through Thomas' discography of shows from memory. He stopped on one and smiled.
"Good Omens?" He asked. Roman smiled.
"Sure, why not?" He answered. The TV was soon well into the first scene of the show, with Aziraphale and Crowley standing on the tall eastern wall of the Garden of Eden.
"All the days had been nice, where were about six of them so far, and rain hadn't been invented yet..."
