After Freddie got his cast off, Queen and Venus went back to rehearsing on a normal schedule. With most things back to normal, I decided it was time to settle some of the problems the group was having. I couldn't deal with all of them, but I could handle some, and I was on a roll. I had already talked to Rami and Lucy and gotten them to talk about their graduation plans openly and honestly. They decided they would wait a year, which would be the beginning of Rami's last semester, and then see how they feel. After that, I talked to John and Veronica and made them stop worrying about the future so much. The next problem - I wanted to solve - the Brian/Chrissy/Anita love triangle. I decided to catch Brian after Queen was done rehearsing. I had been in cahoots with Freddie, texting him to make sure Brian didn't see Anita before I saw him. I managed to catch him while he was walking back to his room after class.

"Brian!" I said. "I'm so glad I caught you, we need to talk."

"Is it important?" Brian asked. "I have a huge physics exam next week."

"It's very important," I said. "But it'll be quick, I promise." I followed Brian into his room and closed the door behind me. Brian sighed and sat down on his bed.

"Alright," he said. "What's going on, Lilly?"

"You tell me," I said. Brian gave me a confused look. "Bri, what's going on between you and Anita?"

"Oh this shit again," Brian said, annoyed. "Nothing! I love Chrissy, Anita is just a friend!"

"You're lying," I said.

"I am not!" Brian snapped.

"Yes you are," I said. "I can see it in your eyes. You're a terrible liar, you always look down when you lie." Brian sighed.

"Alright, fine," he said with a heavy sigh. "I like Anita. I like her a lot, ok? But, I also love Chrissy and we have so much history. I tried not to like Anita, I tried really hard, but last week... she kissed me. That broke the dam. I can't hide how I feel for her anymore."

"You kissed her?" I asked.

"She kissed me," he corrected. "But... I didn't exactly stop her."

"Brian what the hell!" I snapped. "How could you do that to Chrissy?"

"I know, I know!" He yelled. "I'm an awful, terrible person! I cheated on the woman I love and for what? Because someone else came along who I happened to like? What is wrong with me?" Brian put his head in his hands in defeat. He sounded like he was crying softly, but trying hard to hide it. I sighed and sat down next to him, putting my hand on his shoulder.

"Bri," I said softly. "You're not a terrible, awful person. You're a wonderful person who made a mistake. I think I was a little too hard on you. It's gonna be alright."

"It's not going to be alright, Lilly," Brian said. "If Chrissy finds out what I've done, the whole group with find out, and nobody will want to speak to me again."

"That's not true," I said. "They'll understand it was one mistake." Brian didn't respond. "Right now, all you need to do is figure out exactly what your feelings for Anita are, and then talk to Chrissy."

"You're right," Brian said, wiping tears from his face. I gave him a little hug and kissed his forehead. I left him alone to think about everything and decided to find my next problem. I ran into Gwilym on the way back to my room and stopped him.

"What's going on with Ella?" I asked.

"What?" Gwilym said. "Nothing, it's fine!"

"It's not fine, tell me what's happening!" I said.

"Will you please calm down, Little Miss Problem Solver?" Gwilym snapped. "Everything is fine! If you don't believe me, ask Ella!" He walked away from me and I scoffed. Fine. If he doesn't want my help, I'll help someone else. 'Little Miss Problem Solver' was on a mission.
