MJ spent the next few days avoiding everyone at school and then heading to her Potts Internship and training with the Maximoff twins. There had been yet ANOTHER arguement with Peter about the Spiderman issue again and the two hadn't spoken in a week, even though on both sides, one was pining for the other and occasionally MJ cried about it to Pepper, though she felt sorry for taking her problems to the woman.

"Pepper, I didn't want to offend him in a way that made him stop talking to me, I just wanted to make sure he knew I cared about how safe he was." MJ blubbered to Pepper, one of the rare times she showed extreme emotion after getting her powers.

"Then tell him that." Pepper said calmly.

"He needs to apologize for his part too, though. He yelled at me and called me "woman" and saying that he didn't know why he liked me at all because he thought I was too unpleasant and  rude." MJ started to raise her voice angrily, starting to get louder and louder, her face getting red.

"Oh, then yes, I'd say he needs to apologize, more so than you." Pepper said soothingly and handed MJ a small candy with an opache wrapper, she opened it to find a lavender candy, looking like a mint, and she popped it in her mouth.

She grabbed her stuff, and walked to out of the Stark building, carefully shouldering her backpack. She sat down on a bench and took off her shoes, and pulled out her roller skates. She put her feet into them and tied them up, and was glad to be out of sight of the building and Peter's car. 

"Hey Ned, wanna go grocery shopping with me? If we go to Target we can mess around with other stuff too." MJ said, and Ned looked over at her.

"Eww, I don't wanna be seen in public with my MOM." Ned said with his cute smile.

"Ned, it's for the internship and you know it." MJ said but laughed. And she saw Ned nod and they made their way to the nearest Target, MJ a little ahead with her skates, but still laughing with Ned as they talked about the latest Flash dilemma. Reaching the store, they wlaked in and MJ wasn't told to take her skates off, so she didn't. Browsing for a little bit and putting the stuff her mom told her to get in one basket, and the random stuff they found in another. Soon MJ was done with her list, and they moved on to just looking through the store.

"Oooh, look Ned they have new Vitamin Water flavors, Ice, which is blueberry lavender, and it says is it -2,200 degrees, "Cold as my ex's heart." Okay, they're getting dark." MJ said, and Ned picked up the next one.

"Hades, or Purgatory, which is 1,000 degrees. I think somebody designing the flavors really was going through a breakup." Ned said, and they started laughing, and continued browsing but as soon as one looked at the other and said,

"Cold as my ex's heart." or

"Hades is Purgatory."

They would burst out laughing again. Ned took out his phone and opened Snapchat.

"Woah, I hope you aren't sharing our joke." MJ said, a huge, dopey grin on her face.

"Nope, I wanna get your Snap." Ned said, and when he found out MJ didn't have one, he forced her to create one later.

"We are going over to my house to get you up to date on social media." Ned said.

MJ nodded. As soon as they checked out and grabbed the bags, she made sure she had the bag with their Vitamin Waters and turned to him, skated a little faster, turned around to face him and said,
