3rd POV

Lorenzo walked out of his private jet as the sight of Scar catched his eye from a distance. He smirked at his friend who was grinning like an idiot. Only Scar could see Lorenzos laid back nature, no one else had come close to seeing him relax in the past five years. Scar knew that and appreciated the fact that his friend could relax in his presence. He liked to know that he could pay back Lorenzo for all his help by giving him a helping hand. Lorenzo knew that and saw a brother in Scar. He had been the only one there to witness him crying over Bella. Scar had spent nights hearing Lorenzo cry and scream in his room and had cleaned up after him when he trashed the whole mansion. Several times.

"AMIGOOO" Scar yelled and jumped on Lorenzo. Lorenzo chuckled and caught on to the man, holding his legs that were wrapped around his waist. "FUCK OFF SCAR" he managed to breath out, too strangled by the big man who was hugging him like a baby. Scar laughed out loud when Lorenzo pushed him away from him, to which he landed on the ground. "Have I seriously given you the responsibility of spending our billions of dollars?" he joked, walking away to the car. Scar stood up quickly and ran to the driver seat before Lorenzo could.

They both settled in the car, Lorenzo sitting in the passenger seat. "Shit, I forgot the lady!" he hissed before running back out to get Lina who was looking at the guards with a puzzled face. Lorenzo straightened his back quickly, praying that she didn't see him and Scar. She hadn't, but he didn't know that. Lina smiled tightly at Lorenzo and walked over to him, not knowing what else to do. Lorenzo didn't speak, only opening the door for her, to which she thanked him. He nodded and sat down in the passenger seat again, watching Scar ogling at the clueless girl.

"You can stare at her all you want afterwards, brother. Can you drive me first?" Lorenzo spoke loudly on purpose, watching Lina flush red. Scar glared at his capo, muttering a "fuck you", to which Lorenzo acted oblivious.

"Of course, capo" he smiled tightly as he started driving down the familiar roads. Lorenzo looked around at the roads he had missed so dearly but had been afraid to return back to. The only thing that had stopped him from coming back was Bella. He didn't believe in himself enough to control his desires for Bella. He needed to be a country away from her if he wanted to stay away from her. He had thought about her a lot, each night exactly. He wouldn't drown himself in alcohol, his perception of himself was far stronger than that. He wasn't a pussy like other miserable men who partied and drank to death to forget a lady. Some of it also had to do something with the fact that he thought he deserved the painful nights. He deserved feeling that pain because it was a payback for all the happiness he had felt with Bella.

Scar noticed his friend looking outside at everything intently and decided to cut the silence; "Five years, huh?" he pushed Lorenzo lightly while smiling . "Hmm 1825 days exactly" Lorenzo answered back, his heart feeling a lot heavier, just like he had expected it too. His mind filling of memories of a very familiar face laughing and giggling at him. it had been far too long. Scar nodded, understanding exactly what he was thinking about. He wondered if he should have told Lorenzo that Khalid was coming, but decided against it. He knew that Lorenzo would murder him and go back to Italy. They had forgotten Lina who was sitting in the back, hearing the weird conversation.

"You have changed Moretti. The beard, the muscles, the leather jacket and the sleek hair. Italian gangsta huh?" Scar teased him, trying to touch Lorenzos hair. That didn't happen though, Lorenzo caught his hand midair and twisted it, hearing Scar fuss about him driving and crashing. "Take a picture sweetheart, it will last longer" Lorenzo told Scar after letting go of his hand. "Yeah? Nah, I have seen better" Scar answered, turning around to wink at Lina.
