Tabriz Bazaar, Iran

Bella

"Hold me idiot" I hissed at Ali who was struggling to pick me up. I was dangling from the window while this idiot couldn't even stretch out his arms to help me land smoothly.

"Oh my god, remind me why I decided to come with you" he muttered and stepped closer so I could sit on his shoulder and get down from my dangling position. I smoothed out my red dress that complimented my beautiful tan than had gotten even darker by the warm weather in Iran. Ali passed me my shawl that i loosely wrapped around my head, some light brown hair strands escaped making their appearance to frame my face beautifully.

I smiled at him and sent him a kissy face as we started to sneak out of the garden. The security was even stricter today, by Khalids order, making it more difficult to sneak out to the Tabriz bazaar. I could barely make out one of Khalids most trusted guards standing by the porch in his usual strict persona.

I turned to Ali before going through the plan again; "You tell the guard that Adam needs help with something and you will stay guard for him, right?". He nodded and muttered; "Watch me bitch" before he strutted to the guard by the porch. I could see him talk to the guard, who looked at Ali confused before he nodded and went away. I squealed and ran to Ali, dragging him with me. Ali was much faster than me and almost dragged me away in minutes. I panted and breathed as if I had ran a marathon when he had ran far enough for no one to see us. Thankfully, Khalid had located the house behind the forest, making it easy for us to hide.

"Are you going to send the message now?" Ali asked as we came to the familiar car which belonged to none other than, Adam. I smiled as I tossed the keys to Ali and pulled out my phone, sending him a message.

I am going to the bazaar with Ali to watch the dance! I will be back soon, please cover for me? Oh and your car is beautiful- Love, Bella

"Sent" I told him as I sat on the passenger seat, waiting for Ali to start driving.

"Woooow" I muttered now and then, when the dancers moved their body to the music effortlessly. They held lights in their hands as they swayed in the dark, making the lights pop out even more. While I wanted to enjoy the whole scenery in front of me, it felt as if someone was watching me. I clutched my scarf around my head, feeling uncomfortable by the feeling of being unsafe. Ali held me closer to his chest allowing me to lean on him, which I gladly did. Suddenly the dancers weren't so interesting any longer and I regretted ever coming out. I stood up from my place and held on to Alis hand and dragged him with me. He gladly rushed me out of the crowd with worry laced on his face.

"Bella, are you okay?" I heard him ask from behind me, but I continued walking out of the bazaar, with him hot on my tail.

"Ali, I think we should get out of here" I told him as my gaze flickered to a man who had a turban on his head with a veil covering his face. My heart immediately started beating faster at the thought of something bad happening. Khalids words ringed in my ears as the man locked his eyes with me.

"The streets of Tabriz aren't safe for any of us until further notice»

Ali seemed to catch on what I was seeing and nodded quickly. He held on to my head and lead my back into the crowd. It was packed by people and would definitely give us more time to run. We took some short cuts and I ran past a dancer who was holding my hand and smiling to me, wanting me dance with her. I rushed out my "sorrys" to her, waving to the crowd as I ran further. Ali occasionally turned around to see me still following and at one point, waited for me to catch up.

It was only when we saw the car that we slowed down.

"Fuck Bels, did you see that man?!" Ali shrieked as he held a hand to his heart. I nodded my head, not being able to answer him. I pulled out my phone to see the message I had been too busy to check. It was sent two hours ago, and I cursed at myself for not opening it earlier.
