Bella stepped in with Adam following her closely. He had opened the door slowly and carefully to not wake Khalid up. It was late by now and he knew that her brother wouldn't appreciate him hanging around his sister at this hour. Or any hour at all. Khalid didn't exactly like the idea of his best friend dating his sister.

Bella was wondering about what had just happened back in the café. She had kissed Adam and told him that she would give him a chance. He was right, she thought to herself. He had been nothing, but nice to her. Both in England and back in Iran. Not just that, but he didn't hurt her like someone else.

Both of them creeped past the living room and just when Bella was about to open the door, it flew open. She shrieked before a hand covered her mouth, Ali hushing her quickly. "Shut up idiot, it's me" he whisper shouted to her, rolling his eyes at her. Bella slapped his arm away and walked inside, looking back at Adam who was awkwardly scratching his neck. "I should sleep now. I have work for tomorrow" he muttered before walking away. Bella nodded his way and was stood still even after he disappeared in his room. She saw as he opened the door even slower and more careful than the last one. He popped his head in to watch if Khalid woke up and Bella chuckled at the sight.

"He aint that cute" Ali muttered to Bella as he saw her standing like a statue beside her door. Bella rolled her eyes at him and closed their door and started changing in front of Ali. "What? Am I lying?" Ali continued to ask when he understood that Bella wasn't going to answer. Bella looked at him with confusion and turned around to him when she had changed into a large shirt; "I thought you liked him?" she asked him, not understanding what had changed his perspective in a matter of days. "Eh, I saw someone better" Ali flicked her off and laid down on the bed, Bella following closely after.

"Well, I like him" Bella stated as they both laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Ali made a grimace at that; which Bella didn't see. "You do?" he asked her skeptically, turning around his head to look at her staring at the ceiling. Bella nodded as a response, not wanting her voice to betray her. She knew that it would reveal the lie in the statement. Ali chuckled at that sadly and looked back at the ceiling too. "Bella, you can trick your mind to believe you, but your heart isn't like that" he told his friend, who grew sadder by each minute.

She started wondering if she had made a mistake but replaying the conversation she had on the phone with Lina, made her shook off the feeling. He already had someone dear to him and he was happy. He had told her that he liked her. He moved on. Suddenly the thought of Khalid telling her to let him move on, passed her mind and then she was certain. She was making the right choice.

"Adam is a nice guy, Ali. He has been a friend to me for a long time and Khalid trusts him. Khalid trust no one and you know that. Surely there is something great about Adam, you know. I don't even know why I am justifying my feeling towards him. I like him. that's it and that's enough" Bella uttered more confident this time. No tears were evident in her eyes because they were all poured out in the restroom of the café where her heart had been broken.

"Like? What is "like" when you love someone else, Bella?" Ali asked her, sitting up to look at her who was laying down. She looked into her friends' eyes and sulked slightly. She had been just as hopeful as Ali when she didn't know that Lorenzo had a woman in his life. A woman that made him smile like that and a woman that was in his mansion. A woman who waited for him to shower and probably slept beside him. Or worse, she probably slept with him. Bella didn't blame her though; he was beautiful and irresistible like that.

"Who do I love Ali?" she whispered to him, watching as he took her hands in his own and looked at her with both desperation and sadness. Ali was confused at that question because he had always thought that Bella secretly still loved Lorenzo. Wasn't that why she hadn't dated anyone else? Wasn't that why she never let anyone else call her theirs? And why hadn't she worn a single ring on the finger that once bared the name of Lorenzo?

"Do I even need to say a name, Bella?" he asked her, furrowing his thick brows slightly. He looked down at his friend who seemed lost in thoughts that where making her sad. He could tell by how her eyes lost the twinkle in them and her lips that dropped slightly, despite her try to lift them up again.

"The name of the man who is currently back at a girls home, after asking me for forgiveness and touching my soul again? Do you even know that the girl he is currently with picked up his phone when I called him, crying in the restroom because I didn't know what to think after seeing the hickeys on his neck the day after he kissed me again? Or no, do you know that he told her that he liked her back when she told him that she liked him? Just like I liked him once upon a time and he... well, he didn't like me back enough. He even called her and asked about how she was doing and told her to take care. And guess fucking what, Ali? She is staying in the mansion I stayed at. She is waiting for him to shower and come to bed just like I did. She likes him. Just like I did. So yes Ali, I need a name of the man I once loved!" Bella poured out her heart, on the verge of crying at the end of it. Her sentences were seeping through Alis mind, making him gasp slightly. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Not knowing what to say, he quickly pulled her into his chest, rocking her back and forth to show comfort and care. Bella didn't cry, but her sadness was enough to make her close her eyes. She laid her head on Alis shoulder as she tried to drift of to sleep, wanting the pain to end.

While Bella was drifting of to sleep on Alis shoulder, Lorenzo sat in the empty and quiet mansion all alone. It was the first time he had been in it, since he had been back, and everything was the same. Just like he had left it when he had redecorated to lose all traces of Bella.

He was sitting on the big couch that was placed in the center of the big living room. Too big for one person, that's for sure. He had a cigar in one hand and a bottle of rum in the other. He alternated between the two, exhaling the smoke and taking a big gulp of the drink in his hand. He chuckled lightly at the thought of Bella going out with Adam. He truly did look like a maniac if someone was to come in and see him. It was dark in the mansion, the only source of light being the small lamp he had switched on and placed on the floor in front of him.

He looked at the lamp for a long time, lost in his thoughts of how Bella would look beside another man. He was trying his best to get used to the sight, so he wouldn't pop off when he saw them again tomorrow. However, it didn't seem to fit in heart even though his mind has cooperated with him. His heart simply denied.

He took the lamp in his hand after throwing the cigar on the floor and stepping on it. He dragged his legs to the hallways where several pictures where hanging of the family members he once had lived amongst. He stopped at the sight of the portrait of his mother who looked absolutely beautiful. He traced the picture with his rough hands as a tear escaped his eye. He didn't wipe it away, being too tired to do so.

"Am I really that disgusting, mother?" he whispered, even though no one was present. His voice broke slightly and came out hoarser than what he had expected it to. He used the same word that Scar had used while describing him. Disgusting.

"Is that why she is scared of me, mother? Or is it the fact that I inflicted her the same pain that she gave me her shoulder to grieve on for? She would never be mine mother, never. Is seems to me as if God is punishing me by showing me heaven on earth while knowing that I won't get to set a foot near it. He is teasing me, isn't he? I know he is. I may be disgusting, but I am not stupid" Lorenzo whispered to the picture of his mother that was hanging on the wall. Another tear escaped his eye and he chuckled at the hurt he was feeling.

"The beast is crying over a girl, mother. Tell father so he can come and slap some sense in me again. Come on, tell him" he taunted the wall, like a mad man. "Won't you do that for me? No? I know that you are angry mother, but don't worry. I will fix this. I will kill the man who took you away from me and for that, I will have to let Bella go. She can be with that petty excuse of a man. She deserves a scum like him for hurting me like that, mother. She hurt me" he whispered before falling to the ground as his sobs and screams echoed in the mansion, that was once filled with Renzo and Amores laughter. Not now, no, the times were long gone.

Bellas Renzo hated her for leaving him and Lorenzos amore cried for watching him leave.
