The four of them walked up to a large stone wall that surrounded a city. Galdim and Hylumu walked in while Valg carried Katerine inside. "She's already dead?" Galdim asked.

"How are you not?!" Katerine complained. He laughed with the other two joining him. Katerine pouted while hiding her head behind Valg's.

"You get used to it." Valg said as she set the elf down. Katerine stretched her legs before falling down. Galdim sighed as he turned and walked deeper into the city. Hylumu glances at Galdim before turning back to Valg. "Go on ahead. I'll take care of her till you collect the reward." Valg said.

Hylumu nodded before running up to Galdim and following him. Once she did, Valg picked up Katerine princess style and began walking. "Where are we going?" Katerine asked.

"To a bar." Valg responded as she carried her down the street. Katerine looked around, seeing multiple stores and buildings at least two stories tall. The shops they passed had multiple people with armor and weapons visiting them. She read the signs, noticing names such as "Deadly Poisons" and "Blurred Smith."

Katerine's eyes lit up as she saw a man with flaming hair. "How'd he get his hair like that?" She asked while looking at the cat like humanoid that had bright orange flames on his head.

Valg looked at the man with a confused look. "Either a spell or a passive." She responded.

"That reminds me. You don't have a passive, do you?" Katerine asked.

"Nope. I'm not one of the few people that was born to have one. However, Hylumu is studying up on them and promised to get me one whichever way is possible." Valg explained as they walked up to a bar called Liquid Atrocities.

Valg carried her in to see multiple adventurers drinking and laughing away while a band played in the far left corner of the bar. Katerine began to shake her head in time to the music, enjoying the sight of many different people sharing stories.

When Valg reached the bar, she sat Katerine on one of the stools before sitting next to her and ordering a cup of ale. "Despite the name, the drinks here are great!" Valg yelled through the noise.

"If you say so, then I wonder what I should order." Katerine said as she began to look at what's available.

After a couple seconds, the bartender walked over and gave a cup of ale to Valg. "A cup of water for my friend here!" Valg ordered before Katerine could speak. The bartender quickly poured the cup before giving it to the pouting elf.

"Why am I forced to have water?" She asked.

"Because when we first found you, you were drunk off your ass. This is to make sure that you don't drunk again." Valg responded before taking a drink out of her cup.

Katerine pouted as she looked at the musicians playing while taking sips of her water. She was shocked to see many different races together, enjoying and sharing stories. "I've only been in towns with one dominant race. How can all these people get along?" She asked.

"It's because they all want to become rich, famous, or have their own reasons for forming a party. After that, people gather around with those they think they can trust and do their best to accomplish everyone's goals. Of course, not everyone enjoys the party they are in. Sometimes you have people leaving, and other times you have backstabbing." Valg explained as she kept an eye on the room.

"Do you guys have problem?" Katerine asked as she took another sip.

"Nope. Galdim maybe a stick in the mud, but he's a good leader. He takes care of us at least." Valg responded as she chugged the rest of her drink. "I wonder what's taking them so long."
