A month had passed since the Super Stars met Katana and Orochi had become a vampire. He was settling in well. Zac was proving to be quite the teacher when it came to showing someone, anyone the ropes of being a vampire. Sometimes Akira would go with them and learn more about vampires and other times he'd stay with Freddy, Bowie and or Mick and watch them have beybattles with each other. Sometimes he'd join the battles.

Things were starting to look good for Akira now. For the first time in a year he actually felt safe. No more fear, no more pain, no more lonely nights of crying. He could actually smile and enjoy beyblade again. Zac and the other Super Stars were more of a family to him than the one he'd been forced to live with before. Akira was finally happy again.

As the sun started to set Zac and Orochi returned from a hunt. Akira and the other three Super Stars were outside relaxing, hanging out and enjoying the warm evening after having several beybattles a good few Akira himself won. Bowie sat on the top step with his back to the railing and his legs stretched out. Akira, who was in the middle of a beybattles with Mick, noticed Mick was constantly watching Bowie for some reason rather than focusing on their battle.

"Zac, Orochi you're back," Akira exclaimed as he noticed the return of the oldest and youngest vampires in the coven.

"Yes were back," Zac chuckled as he stopped to see who would win Akira or Mick.

"Don't look now but Mick's up to something other than just beyblading," Orochi pointed out.

After Akira bet Mick the vampire put a figure to his lips and crouched low to the ground with his eyes set on Bowie. Freddy suddenly appeared from the left side of the house after investigating something in the trees that had caught his attention and gave Mick a look before quickly moving out of the way.

"Hey Akira, wanna see something really cool?" Mick asked in a low soft whisper.

Akira only nodded while Freddy chuckled under his breath shaking his head. Freddy knew what was going to happen. Mick did this sometimes. Orochi gave Zac a look but the blonde gestured for him to wait and see. Mick glanced silently at his coven mates before turning back to Bowie. His arms were crossed over his stomach and the hat he always seemed to have on was down over his eyes.

"Just what I was waiting for," Mick Purred as he put his beyblade in his pocket.

Than as Akira watched Mick placed a hand flat on the ground. The vampire closed his eyes and concentrated. His hand started glowing. Mick pointed in Bowie's direction and Akira looked over at him. A wall of earth a couple feet wide and about five feet high formed behind Bowie. Mick chuckled as he released the wall to crumble down on the napping unsuspecting vampire that was soon to be an angry force to be reckoned with.

"MICK," Bowie yelled as he jumped up quickly and lunged at Mick.

Mick dodged him by quickly side stepping. He laughed before taking off at full vampire speed with Bowie right behind him. Freddy doubled over laughing behind Akira as they watched their friends run off.

"He'll be back," Zac chuckled as he went inside.

"Is Bowie going to hurt Mick?" Akira asked.

"No. Not severely. If he catches him he'll rough him up a bit," Freddy replied.

"That was so cool. How'd Mick do that?" Akira questioned.

"It's his vampire ability," Freddy explained. "Every Vampire has one. It could be something they couldn't do as a human but can do as a vampire or something they could do as a human but can do better as a vampire. Mick's ability is earth manipulation. He can get the earth to do what he wants it to by using his energy to manipulate it."
