A Feeding and an Attack

Hello and welcom to chapter 23. As luck would have it I have today off of my new job so here's an update.

Gabe didn't report Lui and Theodore's conversation to the High Council. When Silas the demon member of the council paid them a visit Gabe told him everything was fine. He thought he could make Lui nicer and less willing to dominate anyone if he really worked to. Even though Gabe was the coven leader, since Lui couldn't care less about the position, Lui could and would kill him if he wanted to and they both knew it. He could only hope the council wouldn't figure out what was going on before Gabe could help Lui see what he was doing was wrong.

"Katana," Lui yelled out one morning after breakfast, a week after Theodore's visit. "My training room now."

Katana knew what that ment. Lui was thirsty. He wanted blood. Katana had no qualms with letting someone like Shinki drink but Lui wasn't nice about it and he tended to take a lot. Gabe gestured towards the door letting Katana know he could slip out and Gabe would tell Lui Katana had left before he'd called for him.

Katana shook his head. He'd give Lui a drink since that ment he wouldn't have to do it again for a while. He walked out of the living room towards Lui's training room. Once the door to the training room was closed Lui turned to him. It was known by all of Rideout that Lui preferred the blood of other supernaturals minus wolves and humans over animals. Do to Gabe's rule of not feeding on humans Lui had to drink from animals. He was however allowed to drink from one of Rideout's members once a month.

Gabe had known about Lui breaking the no human blood rule. He knew sometimes when Lui went out he'd sometimes feed from a human or if he was lucky a supernatural he'd run into. Gabe knew Katana was a favourite blood donor for Lui sometimes Shinki would do it. Lui wasn't allowed to target Kyo and he knew it so he settled on Shinki, Gabe and Katana. Today it was Katana Gabe thought as he walked out of the house to take care of some stuff.

"You came willingly today. Odd. I usually have to come get you," Lui noted.

"I can't and won't fight with you anymore. Let's just get this over with," Katana requested.

Lui chuckled he came closer and pinned Katana to the wall. The human didn't fight him. He did close his eyes in fear but he didn't fight. Lui exposed the left side of the teen's throat. Then without warning his fangs pierced through the skin.

Katana gasped a little. Lui went out of his way to make this as painful as possible for his amusement. Katana was starting to regret not running for the door. He felt himself getting lightheaded and weak. His pained breathing was starting to weaken too. Katana heard himself whimper as Lui continued feeding. If this went on any longer Katana would not only pass out but Lui would kill him.

Katana now tried to push Lui away but the vampire was stronger and Katana was weak, weaker than usual from the feeding. His eyes closed and soon enough he felt his consciousness slip away. Katana let out one last quiet whimper then let the darkness take him. Maybe now he'd actually die and be free from Lui.

Lui stopped feeding as he felt Katana go limp. He laid him down on the floor of his training room and walked out. Once in the living room he looked eyes with Shinki who was just coming home from a hunt. Shinki could smell Katana on Lui. He knew Lui had feed from him.

"I'm going out. I'll be back later."

Once Lui was out the door Shinki used his vampire speed to get to Katana's room within a few seconds. He wasn't there. Shinki thought of where he could be when a thought entered his head. Lui's training room. Lui had never let anyone in there before though. Not even for feeding. Was Katana in that room? Was he dead? Why would Lui let him in the training room?
