Chapter 13 - Personal Pity Party

(Taehyung's POV)

I didn't know what to do. For the first time in my life I was completely clueless. I was having a panic attack and having a mental breakdown. "Taehyung what's wrong!" My mom asked worriedly.

"N-nothing." That was obviously a lie. You could tell by my red nose and brimming tears. "You don't have to lie to me." I sniffled and wiped away any tears I had. "I'm just very stressed with school. All the work is getting to me."

My mom rubbed soothing circles onto my back. "Are you sure Tae? We all know you're a very bright student. Maybe this is about something else... Sangmin's death?"

"Y-yes..." I never showed much emotion before, so my mom must've been extremely worried. "It's very hard for us all Tae... I'll get you some tissues and order you a pizza, how about that?" My mom said with a sad smile.

She patted my back and finally left my room. About 5 seconds late she popped right back in with a box of tissues and a phone in hand. "Medium sized pizza with pepperoni and sausage, cut the olives and mushrooms?" She memorized my exact pizza order...

"Y-yeah." She gave me the tissue box and ordered the pizza. I decided to watch Naruto, because that always cheered me up. 15 minutes later my mom rushed into my room and gave me the pizza. "Are you feeling any better Tae? You think it'd be best to skip school tomorrow?"

I shook my head. "Dad will be mad." My mom chuckled dryly. "Fuck whatever he says. You're not feeling well, and I hate the idea of my son in school while he's feeling sh- not so well."

That made me laugh a little. "Watch your profanity mom." She gave me a crooked grin. "I'm a grownass woman with 3 kids and a cheap husband,  I'm pretty sure I can say a few cuss words." She chuckled lightly then ruffled my hair. She then got a serious look on her face.

"Is there anything else going on?" She put her hand on my shoulder. That's the thing with her. She has this kind of... mom sense? I don't even know what to call it. She can just tell something's off by looking at you.

"No nothing else is wrong mom. Thanks for asking and just being here with me." Then I realized something. So many ideas and thoughts flooded my head in the course of 5 seconds. "Uh- mom I love you so much. Thank you for being there for me when I was at my worst and helping me through tough times. I really appreciate you."

My mom blinked several times. "Where is all this coming from Tae..? You're not usually-" I cut her off with a tight hug. "I love you mom." She hugged me back. She was still surprised but nevertheless, she said I love you back.

I looked at my watch. 10:50. "Ok thanks mom, I feel better now." She smiled and left my room. I continued to watch Naruto and eat pizza.

I also silently cried into a tissue, knowing what I was going to do an hour and 10 minutes after.

(Jimin's POV)

(Time skip)

"Ugh Jungkook. You big baby! It's nearly midnight and you're still not done. You know what, I'm gonna head out. I need some air." Jungkook nodded. "Alright, but be careful!" I waved him off. "I will."

I slipped on a sweater and put on my (guCCi) flip-flops. I almost felt a hint of guilt as I closed the door. I never completely do though. Those thoughts were little shreds of my humanity left. Which was probably very little...

I shoved my hands into my pockets and walked to the small park near the school. When I got there it was completely dark and the lights weren't on. I mean, it was midnight so why would they be on?

Taehyung wasn't there yet, so I decided to wait.

(Taehyung's POV)

"Mom! I'm going to head out." She looked away from her Sudoku. "It's midnight though..?" I looked down. I didn't feel good and I didn't want my mom to see my puffy red eyes anymore. "I need to clear my head."

She sighed. "Ok, you have half an hour. Please stay safe." I nodded. "W-wait, there's something I need to do before I head out." My mom raised an eyebrow. "And what is-" I ran upstairs, into my younger sister's room before my mom finished her sentence

"EonJin." She was busy drawing some sketches for her art class. EonJin hummed in response. "EonJin I really love you and your precious self. Also you're a great artist. Bye." "Thanks?"

I ran across the hallway to Jeong Gyu's room. "Hey little bro!" "Sup." He was busy reading a book I had lent him. "I just wanna let you know that I love you so much and you're the best little brother anybody could ever ask for. Aight bye now." He looked at me with a confused look but shrugged it off. "Thanks I guess?"

A small tear rolled down my cheek, which I immediately wiped away.

I finally ran downstairs again where I met my mother's eyes. "You done now?" "Y-yeah, I'm gonna go now." I put on my hoodie and left the house. A bit later I was in front of the library. I worked a part-time job there so I had an extra key. I shakily opened the glass door. I ran up the stairs until I got to the highest level. I think I needed to text Yoongi one last time.
