Sylvia's POV
When I step off the plane, I head straight for baggage claim, not wanting to waste a second in this stuffy airport.
After receiving my bags, I walk outside, hoping to catch a cab or some other type of transport.
The second I step out of the giant white building, an overwhelming sense of... what is this?
My body is tingling, and my fingers feel almost like a disease is spreading from the very tip of my fingers to my shoulders to my stomach. It feels good, different, but good.
Oh my god. I'm warm! I'm really warm! I'm actually warm. I'm warm. I'm warm. I'm warm.
I didn't know my trip would be so short. But I found what I wanted. I found love.
Now I just have to find out who my soulmate is. Fun.
I watch all the people around me, trying to decide which one could be mine.
There is a brown haired guy that looks pretty cute. Tall, blue eyes.
There is also a shorter blonde haired boy with brown eyes. He's also pretty cute, however not as cute as the brown haired boy.
I decide to go with the tall guy. I walk up to him, getting just a tad bit closer then is deemed socially acceptable.
"Hello there," I sing, twirling my hair.
"Hi there," he replies, seemingly uncomfortable.
"Sorry, am I too close?" I ask, blushing hard.
"Yeah, way too close."
"S.sorry," I stutter, trying to gather myself.
"It's fine."
"U...uhm," I continue to stutter.
"Yes?" The brown haired boy asks, urging me on.
"Well... I couldn't help but notice, I became increasingly... warm when I stepped outside."
"Yeah, you're in Arizona, it's summer, it's freaking 110 degrees out. Trust me I am not your soulmate."
"O..ok. Sorry about that."
I run away, getting into the nearest cab without even looking who I'm pushing out of the way.
I slam my head against the window.
"Bad day?" The driver asks.
"This day has been a day like you wouldn't believe."
"Ahh. I'm sorry miss. Where too?"
"Anywhere away from here."
