Damon had a picture in his wallet and in his drawer that Lilian gave him awhile ago and he stared at it hoping he could see her finally awake and smiling. She missed a lot and would have to catch up. Caroline was a Vampire now and Tyler and Jeremy now knew about the supernatural also. They opened the tomb and killed all the vampires. Grams didn't die and Jeremy got close to Bonnie. Katherine was in town and needed Elena for the Sun and Moon curse.

Damon was at Lilian's house in her room waiting because they said she woke up. Caroline and her mom were driving her back now and Caroline told Stefan she's in a little pain but she's okay. She told him that she can't go to school for awhile and has to stay home mostly.

When Lilian woke up she immediately thought of if she saved Damon and looked for him and Stefan. She realized she was in a hospital and turned to a shocked Caroline staring at her. Caroline hugged her tight and she got a flashback of that night. She was shot and thought she was dying. It was like she couldn't take Damon's blood and she passed out. She kept getting dreams and visions of him and she just woke up and found out she was in a coma. Lilian felt something about Caroline and recognized she was a vampire.

Lilian was asked questions and had to do a couple things till she was actually discharged. She recognized the hospital in Pittsburgh and found out she missed some months. Just great.

Caroline filled her in while they were on their way home and all she could think about was Damon. When she saw her sister texting him when they were close to Mystic Falls she felt her stomach do a flip. They soon arrived home and her body hummed feeling Damon close. They helped her inside and Liz gave her medicine before leaving for work. Caroline gave her a cane and heard Damon upstairs so she left to the boarding house to give them alone time. Everyone was meeting there anyways to talk about Lilian coming back anyways.

Lilian slowly walked up her steps and while she opened her door she did not expect Damon to be right infront of it. "Jesus Damon!" Lilian touched her chest with one hand and gripped the cane with the other. Damon smiled looking down at her.

"I missed you,I'm sorry for scaring you" She looked at him and dropped her cane. She quickly hugged him and felt him return it immediately. He hugged her close to his chest and kissed her temple. His eyes started to water and she silently let tears out.

"I thought I was gonna die and not see you again" She said,her voice cracking. "I just wanted to save you Damon" he started moving their bodies side to side calming her down.

"It's okay Piccola. You should know that I would've deserved to die" Lilian squeezed him.

"No you don't,that's why I did it. I did it cause I care Damon. You have someone who cares about you and puts you before them" Lilian said affectionately and Damon smiled.

"Glad someone cares to get infront of a bullet,let alone a few wooden ones" she giggled a little and looked at him.

"I missed you too Dae" she slowly leaned towards him and he leaned his head forward. Their lips crashed together into a deep and slow kiss.

Lilian wrapped her hands around his neck and Damon grabbed her waist being careful not to apply pressure.

The kiss gave her all types of feelings and for the first time in awhile she felt alive. Damon made her heart skip a beat and that feeling was new. Beau didn't even make her feel this way. Damon possessively pulled her closer and teased her mouth in ways that made her feel dizzy.

She winced a little when he squeezed her leg and quickly bit into his wrist realizing he can heal her now. Lilian took his wrist and drank only a little bit to take away the pain since she had stitches,while holding eye contact. Damon felt his wrist start to heal and Lilian felt the pain go away.

She was breathing heavy and eyes glazed. She looked at him and saw he too had lustful eyes. Suddenly and all too fast she was kissing him again but was now naked and feeling Damon's bare body.
