Chapter 4

Lilian and Damon were now closer ever since he told her what he is. Lilian was on her way to Tyler's house and decided to surprise him. Carol let her in this time on her way out the house and said he's been in his room a lot these past couple days. Vicki disappeared and Lilian knew Damon didn't kill her. She actually left town willingly and Matt was now by himself.

Lilian walked in Tyler's room and no one was in there. "Guess I'll make myself comfy" she said plopping down on his bed. Shortly after Tyler came in hair wet from a shower and he had jeans on but no shirt.

"Lilian,jeez what are you doing here?" Tyler said scared from seeing her on his bed.

"I was bored and we haven't talked ever since Vicki left" She said timidly. She knew Tyler was hurt even if it was a little bit that Vicki was gone.

"Yeah I don't care but I just needed some time to think,alone" Lockwood said hesitantly.

"I understand,we've all been caught up doing some thinking" Lilian said thinking about how her and her sister are still on the ice with each other.

Tyler looked at her quizzically. "What's been going on with you Forbes?" He asked while he put on a random shirt.

"Me and Caroline got in a fight and we haven't really been talking much to each other" She said sadly.

Tyler gave her a look of pity. "I'll tell you what,let's go shopping in the Town Square. I know you like shopping and we can use my dad's credit card" He said smiling.

Lilian smiled excitedly and nodded.

They took Tyler's car since she walked to his house. Damon was texting her and they weren't about much. He was wondering if she was okay and what she was doing. She told him she was hanging out with Tyler and she would see him tonight.

"So what's going on with you and Stefan's brother?" Tyler questioned hearing everyone in town specifically Caroline talk about Damon.

"He's my friend and Caroline doesn't like that" She replied shortly. Tyler sucked his teeth.

"I figured cause she was ranting to Elena about Damon and how Bonnie might be right about that weird feeling she got from Stefan but she said that it must've been about Damon" Tyler turned to look at her for a second. "Caroline says that because of Damon you don't talk to anyone like that anymore and you've distanced yourself" Lilian scoffed at that.

"I am so not. Elena and them aren't my best friends like they are hers. I talk to them but I don't go over their house. And I used to be close with you and Jeremy but Jeremy has been wrapped up in drugs and alcohol and what is known as Vicki Donovan. He also wanted me to be there for him when his parents died but I couldn't,I had to stay in Pennsylvania" Lilian explained upset about the stupid lies and bullshit in general going on.

"I was wondering why you seemed more to yourself. No one is really there for you" Tyler said feeling her pain. Lilian nodded and looked at him.

"Yeah,your right" She looked down messing with her fingers. "Everyone isn't there for me really except Damon" Tyler noticed the small smile that appeared after she said his name.

"Someone's got a crush" He said pulling into the parking lot. Lilian smacked his arm and rolled her eyes as they got out. They started walking to the only designer clothing store in Mystic Falls.

"This is the fanciest clothing place in town" Lilian said looking around the store. The cashier lady looked at Tyler flirtatiously and Tyler and Lilian ignored her looking at the clothes.

"Yeah you weren't gonna get a dress from that dingy boutique" Tyler said letting his inner bougie Lockwood come out. Lilian giggles and the Cashier was basically watching them with jealous eyes now.
