George's Pov

I put on the sirens as I pull over a red maserati spyder who was speeding down the highway. I slowly make my way over to the car. I look down into a car to be met with the face of a troublemaker with messy black hair, sparkling sea green eyes, and a small smile. I would've immediatly pegged the scruffy boy as a kid to watch if it weren't for the fear in his eyes. I find out why as I hear a screech from the passenger side.

"If you weren't speeding we would've been there by now!!!" I turn my head to see a curly blond girl with a scary glare from cloudy gray eyes. She huffs and puffs and I realize she is sweaty and really pregnant. She is rubbing her stomach and glaring at the boy who looks scared out of his mind.

"Uh, if you don't mind, can you give us a ticket after we get to the hospital..?" The boy smiles weakly and the girl rolls her eyes, but smiles thinly.

"Sure, I'll give you an escort." I hurry back to my cop car and turn my sirens back on before taking off towards the nearest hospital, followed by a speedy red maserati spyder.

About twenty minutes after I got the couple to the hospital I am greeted by the shaky untamed hair boy, but this time he is accompanied by a small friend, more specifically his new son.

He lets out a shaky laugh as he approaches me, "Thanks for the escort and everything."

"Happy to help." I grin, "Who's this little guy?" I'm a sucker for babies, my wife delivered my daughter three years ago and I fell in love with the little demon. Previously I was just like every other young adult who thought kids were a big hassle.

He smiles with happiness and relief, "This is Charlie." He coos down at the baby as if forgetting he was telling me and not his son.

I nod in goodbye before walking back out to my squad car.

Alright, I swear it was better in my head. If you're wonderig why they are acting super OCC, more than usual, it's because they are having/had a kid. It's not the most relaxing thing.
