"Oh jeez, where to start. I think I'm going to start by telling you that I trust you with everything, and I believe that you wouldn't share anything said here." I explained.
"Of course not." He sighed shaking his head.
"Alright, well last night after the funeral I had decided to take a walk. Robyn had seen me walking by her house and ran after me. She had said things that kind of cut deep what with the whole Reilly thing. And I haven't told anyone this but I promised Reilly I'd keep her safe, but I couldn't, I've been blaming myself for her death since it happened and now you're the only one that knows. So I got home and cried until I fell asleep and woke up again at around three. I was feeling very down and pulled out a rope, tied a noose, hung it on my ceiling. But I couldn't do it." I explained.
He looked at me in shock.
"I didn't know it was that bad." I sighed staring at me.
"Dude, I'm sorry." He sighed.
"Don't be yet, it gets worse. So I cried until nine thirty when my parents came in to check in on me. So I got in this heated fight with my dad and in the end he slapped me. That's when I stormed out and made my way here." I nodded.
"Holy shit Noah, that's a lot to take in." He sighed.
"Alex, I'm sorry." I shrugged.
"For what?" He asked.
"For putting you through all of this." I shrugged.
"You're my best friend, I do this because I want to help." He smiled.
The bell rang and I was off to gym with Robyn. I entered walking next to Robyn and all of Jayden's friends were staring at me with smirks on their faces.
"What do you idiots want?" I asked.
"We want you to tell us where the fuck Jayden is." Michael, one of the douche bags stated.
"We know what he did." Kyle smirked.
"He's in jail." I stated.
"Bullshit." Michael added.
"And why would I lie about that?" I asked.
"Because you're an asshole." Kyle shrugged laughing.
"Fuck you." I scoffed.
"Noah, come on." Robyn sighed as she tried to pull me away.
"Aw, little Ms Kessler's scared of seeing her man get his ass beat." Kyle laughed.
"You wanna go you son of a-" I started before Robyn pulled me hard enough for me to follow her.
"What the hell!?" I asked.
"I'm not going to stand here and let you get hurt!" She exclaimed.
"It's my choice!" I yelled.
"Look, I get that you're going through a tough time, but taking your anger out on others isn't going to make you feel any better." She explained.
I sighed and she walked into the changing room. I walked into the men's changing room where a huge group of boys were staring at me, they began to walk towards me and I quickly left. They all followed after me. I met up with Madison, Logan, Carter and Avery. I looked at them in shock and they all looked confused.
"Noah, what's wrong?" Avery asked as she looked over my shoulder to see the boys coming towards me.
"I gotta get the fuck out of here!" I exclaimed.
"Dude, you can't leave, class has already started. Even if you're being attacked or whatever, that's basically skipping, you're almost out of days off, you've missed so much school." Logan shrugged.
"What am I supposed to do then?" I asked as they became closer.
"Just ignore them, they won't do anything to you during class." Madison shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." I nodded as I tried to calm down.
I felt someone tap on my shoulder and I slowly turned around.
"Meet us after school." One of the boys smiled.
"If it's a fight you're looking for, I'm not interested." I sighed.
"Well, it's happening." He scoffed.
"I told you, I'm not going to fight you." I stated.
"Chicken." He smirked.
"I'm a chicken? I think you have that backwards. Thinking fighting is the only way to solve problems is pretty damn cowardly." I nodded.
"You dick." He scoffed.
"I'm not being hurtful, just honest. Sorry that you can't handle the truth." I shrugged.
He glared at me as my friends stood in fear. "Whatever." He scoffed as he walked away along with the others.
"Holy crap, that was awesome." Carter smiled.
