"So Kazan, anything?"
Kazan looked up from the desk to see his sister. Years had passed and now she was 15. Her hair had grown much longer and she now wore a gray crop top, black shorts, and black gloves and boots mimicking a Mightyena's socks.
Kazan was now 17. He wore a black vest over a red shirt and black pants with a stripe of red.
Kuro and Kurai were almost 11. Kuro wore a red shirt and black shorts while Kurai wore a black and gray dress.
"Team Gijinka arrived," Kazan answered.
"Ooh, now the fun can begin," Kage said happily. "Let me take care of this."
"Kage."
"Oh Kazan, trust me, I got this," Kage told him. "I can fight as well as you."
"Hiryu can bring forth a sword."
"Damn those 'true' gijinka! Why do they get all the good stuff?! We were the ones who had to suffer for it!"
"Kage!"
Kage stopped. "Sorry, Kazan," she said, looking at the floor.
Kazan got up. He walked over to the wall and picked up the katana resting on it. What a find that had been. Down in the basement, in a room filled with TVs...
"Here," Kazan said, and handed it to her.
Kage took it graciously. "Thanks. I should get going."
Kage took the strap on the sheath and threw the sword over her shoulder. Then she walked out.
Kazan sat back down at the desk. He glanced at the cactus sitting on it briefly before resting his head on his hand. But his collar rubbed against his wrist uncomfortably. Even now, the collar stayed. He just couldn't take a blade near his neck, no matter who did it. He was gradually getting used to it, but every now and then it annoyed him.
"Kazan."
Kazan turned at the familiar voice. There 'M materialized. It was still strange, though he had seen this many times.
"Kage's off to capture Hiryu," Kazan reported. "We plan to use him to take Ryuga."
'M paused to consider this. Then she said, "When you capture Hiryu, wait for me. I wish to see him."
And then she disappeared.
For some reason, the thought of 'M wanting to see Hiryu chilled Kazan. Perhaps it was just because he was a gijinka.
But then, why would she want Ryuga?
This is the end people. Sorry for the short chapter and the dreadful thing known as a cliffhanger.
So, what did you people think of this? Did you cry when they were hurt and cheer when they were victorious? If so, that means I'm getting better as a writer!
Kazan's story continues in Pokemon Beyblade Crossover Book 2. I invite you to read Book 1 and bear with me as I finish it and move on to Book 2.
