My sister was watching Breaking Dawn: Part 2 when we walked into my house.
"Hey. Are you ready to go," I ask her.
"Yeah," she replies, standing up and grabbing her stuff.
"Do you mind if Leon drives us," I ask her.
"Of course not. That's less walking I have to do," she says with enthusiasm.
"Okay. Let me just give him his present."
"What present," he asks curiously.
"This," I say, planting a kiss on his lips. "Happy birthday, babe."
"That's a pretty great present. Thanks," he says with a wide smile on his face.
"Okay, first of all, eww. Second of all, happy birthday Leon," my sister says.
"Thanks," he replies back.
As we were driving to school, it felt like we were being followed. When I turned around in my seat to look being me, I noticed a car that had been behind us for the last ten minutes.
"Leon. Do you know the car behind us? It's been behind us practically the whole time," I said.
"Yeah. He goes to our school and lives near us," he tells me.
When we got to school, the boy that was behind us, parked in the spot next to us and then rushed inside. Leondre' took us to the office to get our class schedules and locker assignments.
"Thank you Mr. Yoshi," we said to the office attendant.
"You're welcome ladies. Don't hesitate to ask anyone here in the office for help if you need it," he replies.
"Okay," we said and walked out to find our lockers.
I noticed that everyone was staring at us as we walked through the halls and buried myself further into Leon's side.
"Why is everyone looking at us like that," I whispered to him.
"Because you're the hot new girls," he whispered back with a smile.
"Oh," I say, blushing with a giggle.
To my greatest luck, Leon and I had first period together, which was AP English with Mr. Clarence. Since it was the first day back after spring break, he just put on the Diary of Anne Frank and had us fill out a worksheet. Everyone seemed to be passing notes and not paying attention. Leon and I seemed to be the only ones doing work. I looked around the room and locked eyes with the boy from this morning. Soon, the bell rang signaling the end of class. The boy rushed out and I quickly followed him.
Once I reached him in the halls, I grabbed his arm and spun him around. When we came face to face, I noticed that he looked oddly familiar to me.
"Who are you," I demanded him. "Why do you look familiar and why do you seem to be everywhere I go?"
"Come with me and I'll answer any of your questions," he told me grabbing my hand to pull me somewhere more quiet.
I see Cinthiah strolling down the hallway and quickly call her over. She rushes over and eyes the boy.
"What's up and who's this," she asks.
"You guys need to know something and it might be hard to believe," he says. "I'm your brother and you're not twins. We're triplets."
I take a step back as if he had burned me and Cindy starts muttering to herself. For some reason I believe him.
"Were you adopted as well," I ask him curiously.
