"Shh.. baby its me... your lover" Vivan said slowly into her ear and his lips started trailing soft kissed on her neck and earlobe.
Gaining all her strength, she pushed him and freed herself from his hold.
"Don't you dare touch me... deal or no deal.... I hate your touch" she screamed at him. Hearing that his expression suddenly changed. His change from a vicious expression to a hurt face but he quickly masked it.
"Misha don't ... come here" he stretched his arm to hold her arm but she wasn't taking it and didn't let him get hold of her.
"Are you forgetting about our deal baby.. hmm... you are mine for the taking" he spoke with an authoritative voice as his hand slowly but firmly held her wrist.
"I don't care anymore, but you are not touching me... you disgust me Vivan" she felt empty inside "I cannot believe that you were once my friend... you..... you destroyed me .... I .... I hate ..YOU" she spoke with all the force left in her.
None of them spoke after that...After what felt like an eternity his hand left her wrist with a jerk and he turned away.
"Go .. " thats all he said and she left.
She took the jewelry and went downstairs and pretending like everything was normal with her.
The three days of wedding functions went nicely and the Sachdev clan welcome their new family member into their family with open arms.
Everybody was shocked to see that Misha did not participate enthusiastically in the wedding rituals, she just did whatever anyone asked her to do. Even while welcoming Anu into the house, she was not behaving like Priya who was demanding money to allow the couple into the house just like any sister would do.
The next morning after the wedding
"Misha beta... wake up darling" Sakshi (Misha's chachi) knocked on Misha's door but the door was already open so she went in. She searched for Misha everywhere in the room, the balcony, the washroom but Misha was nowhere. Even the bed did not look like someone has slept in it.
She searched for Misha everywhere in the house but did not find her anywhere. Sakshi started getting worried and called the family to let them know that Misha was nowhere in the house.
"Mom don't worry she must be in the office for some urgent work" Priya tried to console her mother while Anu got her mother-in-law a glass of water.
"yes, she might be there. Avi call Misha" Mahesh (Misha's chachu) said
"Dad she is not picking up her phone, let me try to call the office if she is there" Avinash was getting worried now because this was very unlike Misha.
"Dad she is not at the office also," Avinash said as he disconnected his call with the office manager.
"Sakshi bahu don't worry, Misha is a big girl she will be alright. Lets wait for a bit she will show up" Misha's grandmother tried to console her daughter-in-law who was now crying.
The entire family got stressed and each and everyone tried to call friends, relatives to see if Misha was with them.
The entire day went in searching for her but she was still not found. She was not with anyone, or anywhere where she usually goes. They all checked the cafes or clubs she usually visited and her phone was still unreachable.
Just like all the friends the Vadhera's were also called and now they were sitting in the living room of the Sachdev's. Vivan had left for the US for an important business merger the day of the wedding so nobody informed him yet.
"Bhai sahab, I think we should inform the police, it has been a day since Misha is missing and we are unable to find her." Pooja (Vivan's mother) spoke tried to break the silence in the room.
The very next morning the family informed the police. They all were devastated and worried about Misha. Now it had been three days since she went missing.
The police entered the Sachdev house and The entire family got alarmed; Vivan's mom and dad were there as well. the head inspector spoke "A girl was found and she matched Miss Misha Sachdev's description. But she is not speaking and her clothes and face are disheveled. She is alive but was found by a lifeguard at the lake near Highway 8"
"WHAT?!" a voice boomed in the entire house laced with anger.
They all turned towards the source and found Vivan standing at the main door.
"Mom what are they saying?" he questioned his mom. She explained him everything and his face became strained with concern and his entire body started radiating hurt and anger at the same time. The family members were not able to comprehend why Vivan was responding so seriously, from their knowledge misha and Vivan hardly know each other. But they ignored it and focused on Misha
"Inspector, where is she now?" one of the family members asked
"She is at the Red cross hospital in south Delhi"
"That is where Priya (Vivan's sister who is a doctor) works, Wait I will call her and inform her and she can check on Misha while we reach there" Pooja (Vivan's mom) hurridly called her daughter to inform her if this and then they all left for that hospital.
They all entered the hospital
Avinash ran to the nurse desk and with the inspector and asked about the whereabouts of Misha.
They all rushed to the third floor where she was. In the hall they saw Priya walking from left to right and then back from right to left hurridly. Her expression was of worry and concern. When she saw them, she stopped them from entering the room misha was in.
"Beta let us go.. we need to see her" Sakshi tried to convince her
"Aunty please wait.. I need to tell you all something." She held them back and made them listen to her
"I checked her reports .. her MRI, X-rays. She is fine physically right now. But she was found in a very bad state and it might ..... uh... it might .. look... it might look like a case of suicide. Someone saw her jump off the cliff into the lake which is very deep. She is not speaking at all or responding to any of us doctors or nurses. She is just sitting like a statue. I am very worried. Right now a psychologist specialist is examining her for any case of trauma and I am still waiting on her blood tests"
Hearing that they all were shocked. "But why ? " Misha's grand dad tried to calm himself but couldn't.
"This is not possible, she would never commit suicide and why would she? There was reason to" Avinash was getting emotional. Anu came forward and hugged him and suddenly he broke down in her arms.
The nurse came and gave to reports to Priya "Dr.Priya here are the reports for Ms.Misha Sachdev"
Priya looked at the reports and suddenly the file dropped from her hands.
Everyone looked at her worried
"Is everything alright?"
"Is Misha ok?"
"What happened?"
"Priya Is Misha ok?"
They all said these questions at the same time.
"Misha is... Misha is ok" Priya said and everyone calmed down until they heard the next words from Priya's mouth and all the blood drained from their faces
"Misha is ok and so is her BABY!"
