Trouble

Leeteuk's POV 

After Heechul said his name I then split my drink out, and started coughing like crazy. All because I know exactly who Heechul is talking about. Kangin was my first boyfriend, and the first person I trusted with my heart. None of my friends had met him, because he had me trapped in an abusive relationship. The only one who knew was Shay, and in the end she was the one who got me away from him. Kangin started out as a loving boyfriend, but after we slept together he changed. He acted as if he owned me, and if I was 1 foot away from another man, he would become riddled with jealously. After a long time he would hit me for fun, and I had had enough. I called Shay while he was gone to work one day, and she drove to my house. She helped me pack, and she took me into her apartment. She kept my secret. When Hyukjae asked questions she just said I was assaulted, and that I needed their help for a while. Of course Hyukjae was more than happy to have me around, and during the day while he was away Shay would talk to me about what happened. She sent me to therapy, and helped me get a place of my own. She saved me from the hell I was in, and that was 2 years ago. She still hasn't told anyone, and even after she died no one found out. She literally took my secret to her grave, which broke my heart. I guess now is a good time to start changing the past.

"I can't go." I said seriously, and Heechul shot me a confused look.

"Why not Teukkie?"

"I can't be around him."

"Why not?" Hangeng asked.

"Kangin is my ex boyfriend." Kyuhyun then gave me a confused look.

"So you're afraid it'll be awkward?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"No I'm afraid he'll beat the shit out of me for leaving him. He abused me when we were together, and since I left while he was at work, I'm sure he's dying for revenge." Everyone's jaws hit the floor at my words.

"You're joking right Teukkie?" Heechul asked with a concerned expression.

"I wish I was Chul, but it's the truth."

"How did you get away?" Hyukjae spoke up. I then turned to him, and gave him a soft smile.

"Shay. She helped me."

"But when?" Hyukjae asked as he ran a hand through his hair in confusion.

"Remember when I lived with you for a year?" I asked and he nodded. "That was when it happened. That's why I came to live with you. Shay did that to get me away from Kangin." Everyone was still silent, because they were processing my words.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Jonghoon asked.

"I was afraid, but now you deserve to know. So I'm sorry, but if you plan on going to that place I have to go home." Hangeng then shrugged.

"Suit yourself." He then stood up, and tried to pull Heechul with him, but Heechul remained in his seat. He then looked down at Heechul with a confused look. "What are you doing Chul? Let's go." He said with an unsure smile, and Heechul shook his head.

"After what I just heard you expect me to what to face that bastard now? He abused one of my friends. There's no fucking way I'm going now." Heechul exclaimed, and Hangeng then chuckled.

"You believe him?" Heechul then looked at Hangeng with disgust.

"You don't?"

"No I don't. I think he's saying it for attention. Jungsu has always been an attention seeker, and he will always remain one. I mean what are the odds Chul? It just so happens that a friend of yours that owns a club supposedly used to be an abusive boyfriend to your friend? I'm sorry, but I don't believe it for a second. He's just saying that, because he doesn't want you to go with me. He knows well drink, dance, and maybe end up in bed together." Hangeng then turned his attention to me. "Let me tell you something Jungsu. Heechul is my boyfriend, and you need to accept our relationship. It's been a fucking year, so grow a pair and stop interfering with our relationship." Heechul then growled.

"Don't talk to him like that!" Heechul shouted, and Hangeng looked at him with a surprised look.

"You're defending him!?"

"Of course I am. He's my friend, and more importantly I can tell he isn't lying. I've known him since forever, and regardless of how much he likes attention he wouldn't fake something this serious. He's also not petty to get in the way if a friends happiness, unlike you are. So if you have a problem with Jungsu, then I can't be your boyfriend anymore." Hangeng's eyes widened along with mine.

"Chul, you can't be serious!" Heechul held an emotionless expression.

"I'm as serious as a heart attack." Hangeng then scoffed, and looked at me with anger.

"This is all your fucking fault." He then clocked me in the jaw, which made me fall out of my chair, and hit my head on the concrete floor. Hard. The last thing I remember is Heechul running towards me, and shouting my name before everything went black.
