July 10, 2003 Pt. 2

Leeteuk's POV

I then stepped forward towards Hyukjae.

"Hyukjae, calm down." He then scoffed in annoyance.

"Calm down? Calm down! You 3 have been very suspicious the last few days, and I want to know why! Especially since my fiancé moved up the wedding without telling me!" He yelled, and then glared at Shay. Heechul then growled.

"Don't you dare look at her that way." I then placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Let's all walk into the room, before something gets started in the hallway." I said. Hyukjae then stepped aside to let us in, and then slammed the door behind us.

"I want answers and I want them now." He said angrily.

"Please calm down." I begged, because all he was doing is making Shay upset, and Heechul is getting angrier by the second.

"I'll calm down when you tell me what the big secret is!" He then turned to Shay. "Shay, you're the love of my life, and we are supposed to be getting married. That means we don't keep secrets from each other. Baby you've gotta tell me what's going on." He begged as he got on his knees in front of ,a now crying, Shay.

"I'm afraid to tell you." She choked out.

"Why?"

"Because I know it'll hurt you. I don't wanna hurt you, Hyukkie." He then sighed.

"Shay, I don't care if it hurts. You need to tell me." She then rose her head up to look him in the eyes.

"What if I don't?" He then raised his eyebrows at her.

"What?"

"What will you do if I don't tell you?" She asked with a serious tone.

"Then I'm not marrying you." My eyes then widened. This was never supposed to happen. Hyukjae and Shay were supposed to live happily, and because of this secret, they could break up completely.

"I'll tell you the truth!" I said with a panicked tone. Hyukjae then shook his head.

"No, I wanna hear it from Shay. If she can't tell me, then I have no choice but to leave her." He said as tears began to swell in his eyes.

"If you love me, then you would never force me to tell you this." She said with a whimper.

"If you love me, then you would never keep a secret from me in the first place." He said sternly.

"I'm not keeping it from you because I want to, I'm doing it to protect you." Her voice started growing weaker as her emotions began to get the best of her.

"Stop protecting me! I have a right to know what's going on!" He then huffed in annoyance. "I'll give you 5 seconds. If you don't tell me, then I'm walking away from everything we have together. One." He eyes are now full of tears. Shay then bit her lip as she tried desperately to stop crying.

"I can't." She whispered. 

"Two." 

"Please don't do this, Hyukkie. I love you, and I can't live without you." She begged. He then paused, took a deep breath, then continued.

"Three." He started to get choked up.

"Please stop." She begged weakly. 

"Four."

"Hyukkie, please!" She screamed. 

"Five." He then stood up, and walked to the door. She then shot up, and grabbed his hand. He didn't even turn to look at her. "Let go, Shay." 

"Please don't go." She begged as she laid her head on his shoulder, while she cried her heart out. 

"Then tell me the truth." He demanded. I was silently praying she could stop him. If not, then I know something that definitely will. 

"I can't." 

"Then I can't stay." He then jerked his arm away, but as his hand touched the doorknob I shouted out to him. 

"Shay's pregnant!"
