taehyung couldn't ask for more.
he had always admired the twinkling stars and the moon in the sky but this time the limelight was stolen by juhyun who was lost looking up in the sky. it was one of those nights when they would sneak out of her house for nothing but just to stroll around on the streets.
"why don't we start dating already?"he asked voice laced with concern yet so desperate in a way as he has been so tired of her not replying.
"i told you.i am not ready."
"ready for what?"he shot back.
it was time like this when it would make her feel as if she was a horrible person,though she didn't mean to be.she still can't figure out if she is ready for the commitment,ready to go on adventures with taehyung,the guy who has been keeping her woke up until noon,the guy who gives her butterflies in her belly making her smile ear to ear.she just doesn't know what to do,how to do.
"tae-"she can feel a lump in her throat already,"taehyung!"she manages to call his name looking down not being able to hold her gaze at his.
it would be a lie if she doesn't want to collapse on the ground and cry her heart out.she doesn't want to lose him yet also doesn't want to make him the commitments she's unsure would keep it.
"i'm sorry!"taehyung slowly pulls her into a hug thinking he might have crossed a border a little because juhyun has been always like this.he for a fact doesn't know what's going inside her mind or whatever but still trusts her enough and won't let go off easily.
as soon as he pulls her,she gives up and cries her heart out.her grip around him gets tighter and she manages to mumble,"i don't wanna lose you"that thought,that fucking thought was enough for her to imagine all the scenes that would happen when he leaves her.
the thought broke her.
taehyung manages to escape a little giggles,"i am not leaving you any soon though."he slowly draws circle in her back to soothe her.
"you dumbass"she pulls away finding his gaze to look at.
"would you not?"she asks.
"what?"he looks puzzled.
"would you ever not leave me?"a hopeful gleam sparks in her eyes.
"yes madam!"he nods back before pinching her nose which made her slap his chest in return.
she losts count on how many days,how many months it's been she's seeing this weird ass boy who still manages to make her inside all giddy and mushy.they have talked about their toxic exes to best memories in lives to their goals and everything.who would thought the girl who was a mystery to taehyung would make him fall hard on his knees.he knows juhyun would never hurt his feelings and never do him bad but still can't figure out why she has commitment issues.maybe because of her ex,he thinks to himself too afraid to ask as it might ruin her face which is smiling.
while juhyun thinks to herself why does he thinks they should have a label on their relationship.it is indeed weird that she doesn't want to start dating but maybe,maybe she thought they were more than what society could label.instead of the names,what mattered to her was feelings,those pure feelings and happiness he gives her.she doesn't wanna ruin it maybe?maybe she's just holding it all and trying to feel all the love he has for her and make him feel loved.
