Chapter Thirteen

~Next Day~

Hidoshi's Pov

I wake up in Roland's arms still, and he just looks to me and before he says anything, "Oh, so you don't have to sleep, but yet I have to?" I ask and he just sighs and shakes his head, "No, I woke up before you. Did you sleep well... Hun?" I nod...
He said hun as if he was asking permission to call me a name, or as if it's something he thinks he shouldn't call me but does anyway.

It was kind of cute.

"I did, for the most part, and you... Darling?" I ask, calling him darling in the same fashion that he called me hun in which makes him glare as I laugh slightly, "Yeah, I slept as well as I could." He answers as he loses the glare and I nod with a smile and kiss his nose. He then goes cross eyed for a second and glares at me while I smile innocently.

Roland's Pov

"Mmhmm, you're not innocent." I say.

Hidoshi's Pov

"Yes, I know I'm not, but I can act like it." I reason with a smile still across my face, but once again I peck his nose and he goes cross eyed just for a second once again, "You are so cute when you do that~"

Roland's Pov

"I really don't like that." I whine.

Hidoshi's Pov

"Ok, I'll stop." I promise with a smile and hug him, "I love you."

Roland's Pov

"I call bull."

Hidoshi's Pov

"I do! I love you, and I promise I'll stop." The first part of the sentence tasted like metal, I haven't said them in so long that it sounds off to me, but it's the truth I love him, but the taste in my mouth from saying really does prove I haven't said it in years.

Roland's Pov

"Yes, I'm awar, hun."

Hidoshi's Pov

I wish I could stay like this forever, but I know it will end soon enough, and I hate it, but I decide to enjoy it while I can.
Enjoy holding him.
Enjoy loving him, and him loving me.
Enjoy being around him and not being a nervous wreck.

I truly do love him.

I kiss his cheek and smile, resting my head on his shoulder since the way I pulled him into a hug is his back facing me.

Roland's Pov

"You're still shorter than me!"

And I'm not letting you forget it!

Hidoshi's Pov

"I've noticed, that's why it's kind of hard for me to rest my head on your shoulder, but I'm still older than you!" I reply back and smile.

Roland's Pov

I raise an eyebrow, "Age is not relevant here!"

Hidoshi's Pov

"

Mmm, that's what you think..." I whisper to him and now just resting my head against his shoulder blade, "So if age isn't, why is height?"

I need to remind myself not to go down that bad minded path...

Roland's Pov

"Well, in the Pack that means your other half is bigger and so on and so forth, but that doesn't mean you're at the top as you can see with Quin." I say trying not to go into his mind, "And in general being taller means that you can move faster over long distances."

Hidoshi's Pov

"Hm, that's actually interesting." I answer then snicker because of where my mind goes, and damn do I wish it didn't go there...
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing!" I yelp and quickly clear my mind of anything unwanted and before he can say anything else, "I love you!" and I smile and hug him a little tighter.

Roland's Pov

I laugh, "Whatever floats your boat."

Hidoshi's Pov

My smile lessens to what my resting face used to be... A calm and content smile, and it's been forever since I had that resting face.
I continue to snuggle my head against him until I feel something furry slip between me and the back of Roland and I look down. It's a dog... My guess is his inner animal or beast thing.

Exactly, he's so original, Beast. My name is Beast.

I smile and drop one of my hands to pet him, but my other arm stays around Roland, "So, does this I technically have two boyfriends, or do you guys just count as one person?" I ask Roland.

Roland's Pov

I sigh, "Don't get him started or he can stay with you on lockdown." I look back at Beast.

Hidoshi's Pov

"Uhm... okay," I answer...

Still didn't really answer my question, but alright...

I stop petting Beast and just let him snuggle against me while I continue to hug Roland from behind.

Roland's Pov

"Spoiled brat." We mumble to each other at the same time.

Hidoshi's Pov

"I am not!" I hear Beast whimper and Roland just shakes his head, "You seem like you kind of are, Beast." I mumble as I look down at the husky and he just looks to me and glares slightly at me. "Don't worry, I love you both." I say and that seems to make Beast happy.
"You... Never mind, I'll just take my own answer." I mumble to myself.

Roland's Pov

"Good idea."

Hidoshi's Pov

I smile lightly and kiss the back of Roland's head and hear Beast whimper, and I smirk.
"What, baby?" I ask in a baby voice while looking down at Beast, He just glares at me dares to whimper again and I just smile and lean my head back against Roland's back.

Roland's Pov

I hate you.
Sure.
ya.

Hidoshi's Pov

I lean away from Roland and move him off my lap and he looks up at me weird as I stand up and stretch. I just smile down at him and help him up, "I'm still taller." He says, and I smirk.
"Really?"
"Yap."
"I'm sexier."
"I got no doubt on that."
"You don't?"
"Nope, it twue." He says and I smile at that.

Roland's Pov

I smile back at him...

Hidoshi's Pov

"You love talking like a child, don't you?"
"It's my specialty!"
"It suits you, it makes you adorable and very cute." And I smirk and lean dow, my nose touching his, "Which is my type and makes you perfect for me."
