🍎 Marie's P.O.V 🍎

Sam, Shine, and Yumi decided to go home so it means ako nalang muna mag-isa dito sa condo at ang nakakatanga pa ay unang sabi nila saakin is 2 days and 1 night lang sila mawawala tapos bilang tumawag si Shine na extended daw muna sila dun and si Yumi rin ay pupuntang Japan to visit her grandpa so mas lalo syang matatagalan. At ako? Eto nakatanga at nag-iisa.

Diko naman ma istorbo si Klark kasi I know nasa trabaho yun and take note. His dad is starting to train him para as a future CEO ng company nila. So again I fix myself get my bag and keys and went to my car to drive papunta sa favourite coffee shop ko

"Good morning ma'am, may I take your order please" nakangiting bati saakin ng cashier. This is one of the reason why I like this place, super approachable ng mga staffs and Yung scenery is so relaxing.

"One vanilla bean frappuccino with strawberry whip cream on top" Nakangiti kong sagot kasi I'm craving for this since last week

"Sorry ma'am, wala na po kaming strawberry whip cream. Ordinary nalang po"

I feel sad a little bit but I don't have a choice edi gora nalang haha

"Plain one would be good" I said and pay for it sabay punta sa favourite pwesto ko which is naka face sa labas ng coffee shop.

"So, kaylan ang wedding girl?" Malakas na tanong ng papasok na babae sa kasamahan nya. Di ako lumingon kasi I'm not interested naman sa kung sino sya pero yung boses ng kasama nya ay napa-familiar saakin

"I don't know. I'm still planning to fix it at dahil sa babaeng yun umaayaw sya" Iritang sabi nya kaya naman napa lingon ako and my instinct is right si Danica the plastic --- walang iba

"Your order ma'am" biglang sulpot ng waiter kaya naman napabaling ang atensyon ko sa kanya. Napangiti na lamang ako sabay sip ng frappuccino ko. Nice timing, I'm not being rude but I can eavesdrop naman diba? Haha

Kung seswertehin ka nga naman oh sa likod ko pa sila pumwesto

"What's her name again?" Iritang tanong ng kasama nya but I find it shocking about who is she talking about

"Marie" sagot nya and I feel it na nirolyo nya ang kanyang mata kaya naman I close my eyes and try to compose myself. Futa Marie, mas maganda ka kaysa kanya!

"Ohhh, so diba I told you kung di ka pumuntang US edi sana kayo pa ni Klark and look he already found someone new"

"Beh, girlfriend nya palang. Ako? Soon to be ASAWA na anong laban nya saakin? Diba wala, at isa pa I know Klark still love me nabulag lang sya sa babaeng yan cause I know nag-hahanap lang ng atensyon si Klark" --- Danica. Super taas naman ng pag-tingin mo sa sarili mo plastic ka. Tsk!

Pero I'm so shock about what I heard. Soon to be wife? Wth? Anong kalokohan to. Is this the reason why Klark is so suspicious? Na parang may tinatago sya?

"But ---"

"No buts beh! I'll get what's mine! Kaya nga I will marry Klark as soon as possible to get rid of that girl!" Inis nyang sabi na kinainis ko rin.

"And once Klark is mine, wala na sa mapa ang babaeng yan. I really hate her since the first time I saw her tsk, kaya pala kasi mangaagaw sya" --- Danica

Wala akong inagaw sa kanya. FYI. Wala!

I need to talk to Klark about this. Ayaw kong maniwala sa kagagahan ng babaeng to baka may mental illness lang to. I want Klark to say it to me face to face

"Here's your order ma'am"

"Thank you" they both said

"Let's go beh" --- Danica said and I heared the door close so it means wala na sila

I took a deep breath and release it. I didn't expect to hear that but I trust Klark, saka lang ako maniniwala kung galing na sa bibig nya lahat.

I shake my head to erase all that thought when my phone beep

Where you at? Andito ako sa labas ng unit nyo but no one's answering

I'm still tapping my phone to reply ng bigla syang tumawag

(Where are you?)

"Savory Coffee Shop"

(I'm coming. Stay there)

"Okay"

And I ended the call

Parang nawala ang energy ko sa mga narinig ko pero as I said I trust Klark. I want him to say it to me infront of my face.

After a few minute of waiting, Klark arrive with a big smile kaya naman I give him also a smile but a half smile only

"What's wrong?" He ask while taking a sip of my frappuccino but I just shook my head. Ayaw kong gumawa ng gulo dito I want to talk to him in a private area

"Order muna ako" paalam nya kaya naman I just nod at sinundan sya ng tingin

After a minute he came back

"I order the same as yours. Masarap eh" he said but I just look at him. Wondering if that's real or not.

Kung ito ba ang dahilan why he keep on saying sorry on me

"What's wrong Marie. You're acting weird again" he ask at bakas mo sa boses nya ang pagka-bahala

I took a deep breath. Again.

"Spill it. Let's fix this" he said while looking deeply into my eyes. Na dahilan ng pamumuo ng luha sa mata ko

I never felt like this before. Is this how deep I love him?

Hindi naman ako ganito dati in my past relationships but when it comes to Klark bakit ganito? Bakit parang ang hina-hina ko? Nasan na yung Marie na may pusong bato?

"Marie" tawag nya saakin kaya naman I look at him in his eyes

"Spill it. I'll listen to you" he continue but before I can react I feel her thumb wiping the tears that falls down from my eye

"Klark" I said at sunod-sunod ng pumapatak ang luha sa mata ko

"Please be honest to me" I said. Siguro hindi ko na mahihintay pang makauwi kami sa bahay at mag tanong sa kanya. I'll take it here

"Are you getting married?" I ask while sobbing and I saw --- both of my eyes the shock written all over his face

"Klark please be honest"
