Chapter 24: Fight! Fight! Fight!

J E R E M Y (Jeremy's P.O.V.)

"Jeremy! Don! Blake is being mean to me." Tyler whined. We were all gathered in the living room. Lillian and Brittany were upstairs taking a nap. And Ma was still knocked out completely.

Don and I looked at Blake and he just shrugged and smiled cheekily at us.

We looked back at the T.V. that was playing Despicable Me!

"Blake cut it out!" Tyler screamed.

"Shut up!" Don snapped.

"He started it." They both yelled, pointing fingers.

"Both of you, shut up. They're sleeping upstairs!" I hissed at the two.

The two started slapping each other on the arms.

"Blake, sit on the floor." Don sighed.

"Why? He started it!" Blake screeched. Tyler gasped.

"Listen to your boyfriend, man! Sit on the damn floor!" I yelled. Blake and Don just threw me glares.

We heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs and I quickly turned to look.

Ma was coming down the steps, bags under her eyes. She was rubbing her forehead and shielding her eyes.

"Boys! Close the light." She groaned.

"But we don't even have the lights on Ma!" Tyler yelled.

My mom winced and leaned against the wall.

"Tyler don't yell." Blake frowned at him. Tyler looked at us and shrunk to the floor.

"I need another pill." She groaned.

I was about to get up when Don placed his hand on my knee and lifted himself us.

I felt a little bit scared about him and Ma in the same room but they would eventually have to talk.

Ma made her way to the kitchen and Don trailed behind her.

"Do you think Ma will ever accept it?" Blake mumbled.

"Of course she will man! I can guarantee it. It'll take time but it will happen." I smiled softly at him.

I felt someone wrap their arms around my neck and I looked up.

Lillian stood there smiling. I reached a little closer and have her lips a peck.

Her hair was in a pony tail and she kept her arms loosely around my neck.

"Where's Brittany, Lillian?" Tyler whispered.

Lillian quirked an eyebrow and pointed upstairs.

Tyler bolted up and made his way upstairs.

"Why was he whispering?" Lillian looked at us.

"Ma with her hangover. Tyler started to yell and yeah... That's what happened!" Blake mumbled. He just looked at the T.V. that was playing a random show now.
