Chapter 5: The Sorry Excuse Of A Father Is Back!

J E R E M Y (Jeremy's P.O.V)

"Happy Birthday Jeremy."

"Dad?" I said, shocked.

"Hello son. I still can't believe you call me dad." He smirked.

"James. What the fuck are you doing here?" I hissed. I stopped calling him dad because he for sure as hell didn't deserve being called a dad.

"Wow son! No need to be harsh." He said, faking hurt.

"What are you doing here?" I hissed. James continued smirking at me.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see my mom with a panicked look.

"Jeremy dear." My mom whispered.

"Well hello there baby." James smirked at my mom, slowly advancing her.

But he wasn't able to get to close because I had blocked his path.

"Don't 'Well hello there baby' her. What the hell are you doing here?" I hissed.

"Why wouldn't I come to my son's 18th birthday party?" He said, innocently.

"Well. Let me see. Like, I for sure would invite YOU to my party." I replied, sarcasm dripping my voice.

"Thanks son!" He replied.

"Stop calling me that." I yelled.

"I am not your son. After you left, I wouldn't want to be your son." I hissed.

Blake, Ryan, Nathan, Victoria, and Lillian all came rushing to the bar.

My mom started to tremble and Victoria and Lillian came next to her. Lillian wrapped an arm around her shoulder and rubbed her arms.

"What are you doing here?" Blake asked, nose flaring.

One thing to warn. Never. And I mean NEVER get on Blake's bad side.

"Well hello there Blake." James smiled.

Blake looked like he was about to pound the guy's face but Victoria pulled on his arm.

Ryan and Nathan both came to my side.

"Well if it isn't the two other idiots who ruined their own lives becoming friends with my boy over here." James barked.

"God James! What the fuck are you doing here?" My mom snapped.

We were all taken back by her sudden mood change.

"As I say for the millionth time already. I'm here for my son's 18th birthday party." He sighed.

I saw two little figures walking over to us and came up to me.

Tyler looked over to James and looked back at me.

"Well. Well. I see you haven't dropped this kid to the orphanage since he doesn't have a mom or dad living." James muttered, disgusted. Lillian had a confused look but I ignored it.

"That's enough!" I yelled.

"I want you to fucking leave right now. Or I will call the police." I screamed. Surprisingly no one had turned around or heard our commotion.
