----------------------------------------Chapter 28: Road Trip?
J E R E M Y (Jeremy's P.O.V.)
Waking up to find the bed with somebody else, dampened my mood.
Instead of finding Lillian next to me, I found Tyler sleeping.
His arms and legs were sprawled all over the bed and he was sleeping soundly.
One of his leg was draped across my stomach. I slowly removed it and got up, stretching.
I placed the blanket that happened to be on the floor, over Tyler.
I slipped out of the room, quietly closing.
I heard soft murmurs downstairs and wondered who was awake at this hour.
"I'm telling you, y'all are upset with each other for the stupidest thing. Just talk about it with him, Lillian." Sam spoke out. What was she doing here this early?
"Yeah Lillian. Y'all will have bigger fights than this. If you fight over these type of things and it gets y'all upset, then who knows what will happen when something bigger approaches!" Nathan said.
"I know. I just somehow overreacted and got really jealous. But I don't know anymore. I know how Jeremy was when he was in high school. I didn't even have to be there for a while to know that he was a player." I just stood still, wanting to listen to everything they had to say.
"And I didn't have to be here for a while to know that my little brother is madly in love with you!" Don told her.
"Come on Lillian. Jeremy wouldn't hurt you in any way. If he did, I'd personally beat the living shit out of him." Sam giggled. I know that she would.
"We're going on this road trip whether you like it or not. You're coming." Blake said, seriously.
"Jeremy, you can come out from the door now." Damn it! I was busted.
I walked in sheepishly, my face in flames.
I scratched the back of my head.
"Just came to grab a bottle of water." I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. I started to make my way out when someone grabbed my arm.
I looked over to see Victoria.
"What?" I replied monotonously.
"Pack your bags. We're going on a road trip." She grinned. I looked over to Lillian who was looking everywhere but me.
"I'm not feeling up for it this year. Y'all can go without me." I slowly backed away.
"Uh uh! You're coming. We do this every year. You can't bail on us." Ryan looked at me sternly.
"Ryan, I'm just not feeling it. Y'all go and have fun." I walked out of the kitchen and started heading back to my room.
"Come on Jeremy. Just pack your bags. You're coming. It's going to be for a week. That's it!" I looked back to see Sam.
"Where are we going?" I sighed. She clapped her hands and grinned.
"We're going to my aunts' beach house an hour away from here!" I started making my way back upstairs.
