Being His Shining Armor

C H A P T E R: 7

Friday

After a tiring and stressful week at college, Friday introduces a welcome change to all. Instead of having to get up ridiculously early in the morning, you can party late and sleep in.

"Guys, the professor is absent."

Everyone hooted in joy. I was already feeling heaven in the afternoon after all it was Friday and now the professor was absent and it's the last period. What more else can be blissful news as ever than this for student to hear on the last period of Friday?

It's like getting freedom a little early.

"Coming to cafe?" I looked at ragini who was standing beside me.

"Ha sure." I quickly packed my bag and accompanied her.

As we came out of the class my eyes automatically looked towards the next class where students were busy listening to lecture. Poor them! I was able to see many sleepy, some talking, few scribbling on the paper in the name of taking notes and rarely very few students were busy listening to the class and one such was
Mr. Mystery man.

His eyes were totally glued straight towards the professor with serious looks while his long fingers played with his pen while listening keenly and sometimes he scribbled words in his book. All of sudden he looked at me while my heart skipped a beat.

Oh, that was unexpected!

"What?" He mouthed those words towards me while I nodded in no and gave a sheepish smile.

He again looked straight concentrating to the class.

Stop staring at him like your favorite dress being sold out for sale!

Thank you! *Note the sarcasm*

My mind has started to become a garbage. I should control it before it over boards me one day.

"Sanskaar, what are looking outside from that time?" I heard the professor yelling which made me look at the class.

Sanskaar was standing in his place apologizing the professor, he sat down in his place.

Was he looking at me?..... He would have looked at someone else why would he look at me?

Brushing off all my not so wanted thoughts I went to the cafeteria and sat beside ragini who was busy strolling her Instagram.

"Finally Miss. Swara Gagodia has some time to sit with her friend." Ragini kept her mobile down on the table.

"Com'mon rags, I do sit with you in the class for the whole time." I rolled my eyes.

"You really know what I mean, don't you? You hardly talked with me this week. In class you busy day dream or listen and I'll be busy with my games. I don't get time to talk at all and you aren't accompanying me at cafe too." Ragini wiped her fake tears. Such a drama queen she's.

But what she said was completely true we seldom talked at class and for breaks I was always with him but I also made sure of myself that she wasn't sitting alone which she doesn't know.

"Now tell are you... Mm.. attracted towards that Mr. Maheshwari?"

I was literally was about to spit the water which I was drinking. This girl and her timings and her stupid words.

"What the heck made me tell that
Miss. Genoka?" I gritted my teeth.

"Ofcourse yaar." She said resting her chin in her hands and continued "You aren't someone who goes behind boys and stay with them and you are doing it now so......"
