Recap:
Back at the school, lunchtime had rolled around meaning that classes were paused for the day. Asano jumped from his seat while running to Ichigo's desk obnoxiously, they all usually ate lunch together, but he found that it was always good to be in the orange haired boy's good graces first; secretly he just loved his attention.
"Ichi~go!" he called out trying to sound like a love-sick school girl as he ran towards his friend. "Let's go eat lunch!" Ichigo held in a small look of disgust and nodded his head; he loved his friends, but sometimes they were a little much for him to handle.
"Sure, but how about we find someone to join us today?" Ichigo said while beginning to stand from his seat. Asano looked absolutely horrified at the suggestion and began throwing a fit when Ichigo walked up to Ishida's desk to ask him properly.
"But why Ishida! Why chose someone that boring to come and eat with us!? That's right, the bandages! the bandages give you a somewhat interesting feeling don't they Ichigo!" he exclaimed obnoxiously while Ichigo ignored him, though Ishida did not. He didn't like being spoken about like that, even if he didn't say anything.
"I don't want to!" the dark haired boy declared while smacking his hand down on the desk; Ichigo offered for Asano to pay and suddenly the boy agreed to eat with them.
....
Up on the roof the four boys sat while eating their lunchs silently; the atmosphere was extemely tense while they ate. Ichigo contempated on whether or not he should've invited Ishida to join them or not. To lighten the mood, he tried to Asano to tell some jokes, but ultimately the boy failed.
"Kurosaki, why did you invite me? Is it becasue of my injuries?" Ishida paused mid bite and glared up towards the other boy. "Because if that's it, then you're wrong, your feelings really give me trouble." he muttered before taking another bite.
"You talk too much, it's becasue I'm in a good mood. I didn't invite you because I like it, you should be glad that someone actually invited you at all, you should thank me." Ichigo said while continuing to eat, his manners were a little rougher than Ishida's were that's for sure.
"Who's gonna thank you? I like to eat by myself." Ishida said while ignoring the orange haired boy's horrible manners. He took a drink while continuing to glare at Ichigo, they both were facing each other while consuming theri lunches.
"I also enjoy eating by myself." Ichigo tried but the Quicny boy cut him off throughly. "That's a lie, Yamamoto is normally up here with you while you eat your lunch." he quickly pointed out before a blush settled on Ichigo's cheeks.
"You're such a bother! Eat while facing the other way!"
Though after that statement, all four boys debated where Izumi actually was; she normally came up after a little while and picked at all of their lunches; but none of them had seen her after she had came in third period. It was strange, very strange.
..
Off in the distance, Rukia sat on a large branch in the school yard observing the boys up on the roof. She didn't want to take her eyes off Ichigo, she was worried for him, but she was also afraid of leaving him; she knew that something was coming, she could feel it in her bones.
"Found her! She's over there!" someone called from underneath of her branch catching her attention. Looking down she saw a decent sized group of girls looking up at her with smiles on their faces. "Kuchiki! Wanna go eat lunch together?"
....
Back infront of the Urahara shop, Kisuke came out with a bowl and a bottle of milk while Yoruichi sat just outside of the building looking up towards the sky.
