Chapter 15 - Starlight.

The people rushed through the doors, into the middle of the arena, everyone surrounding the stage. We still had plenty of time before Muse started playing, and yet people were already going nuts. Alec and his girlfriend Vanessa were already screaming and laughing; I didn't know Vanessa was a fan of Muse, although Vanessa is the kind of shy artistic girl who barely talks to anyone, though I was starting to become close to her. Kelly and Gaia were also here, we were just waiting for Beth and Joel to arrive.

Dom had given me tickets to bring Alec and Vanessa along with me. We were at the front row, a few meters away from stage. Tom walked out from underneath of the stage and spotted us in a second; he approached us, jogging.

"How are ya, guys? Ready for the concert?" Tom said, smiling hugely at us.

"I can't believe I will see them live" Vanessa giggled shyly.

"Oh, you will love'em" Tom chuckled. "They're just warming up...they'll start playing in twenty minutes or so...Beth and Joel? Where are they?"

"Joel texted me earlier, they're stuck in the traffic..." Alec said, with his arm around Vanessa's shoulders. "They shouldn't take that long though; I received the text around half an hour ago..." He said.

"Alright, I just hope they make it on time and get to spot you..." Tom laughed. "Anyways, I have to go back with the guys..."

Tom left, and while we waited, I started talking with Kelly and Gaia. Gaia was on a summer break from college and Matt was taking her with them on tour during the summer holidays. The guys were playing another two or three concerts here in England before the tour formally started.

Yesterday night, as always, I had an argue with Matt. But this time I haven't talked to him since then, in fact I haven't seen him in all day long; I hoped we were back to normal the next time we saw each other. I was feeling guilty, our fights were becoming more constant and I was afraid I might lose him for good sometime soon.

"So, what are you doing now, Clary? I haven't seen you in a lot of time. How you've been doing?" Gaia asked.

"Well, I got an audition for some independent movie the other day, I'm filming in France, by the way. I got the part, but the movie is about this girl who's from rich parents, but she hates her life and runs away. She ends up working in a circus, somewhere in France. But she's ridiculously skinny, and big part of the plot is on her being skinny and flexible; in the circus she's known as Ruban, ribbon in French, precisely because she's skinny. So even though I'm skinny, I still have to look even skinnier for the paper; that was the deal..." I said. (a/n: this sounds like a good idea for a story...)

"Really? God, Clary you're already skinny" Kelly said.

"I know, and thanks...but the difference is that I look skinny-yet-healthy. But Ruban doesn't. She spent quite some time living like an outcast, so she barely ate, to the point where when she eats a lot, she gets sick..." Both Kelly and Gaia were frowning lightly in confusion "Do you guys saw The Machinist?" (a/n: for this movie, Christian Bale lost around 62 lbs, since his character was drastically thin, and I mean drastically...I respect him a lot for that)

"Are you crazy?!" Kelly said.

"Well, I won't go to that length though...I love food, I couldn't starve myself like that even if I wanted to..."

"Clara, please be safe...Don't be so harsh on yourself, and don't be too drastic..." Gaia said. "I don't want you to put your health on risk..." She said smiling softly.
