TANNARS POV
"Its me." I said them words in such a confident voice, without hesitation. I couldn't live without Lannan so I wouldn't. Simple.
I stepped forwards ready to receive my death sentence. Suddenly i felt something warm and soft grab my wrist and pull it lightly. I turned around not to see Lannan all grown up but rather young and innocent from when we used to go on bike rides together. A memory came into my mind. Me and Lannan had just finished school for summer and we where walking home when I decided to go to the park and Lannan followed. I had always been in charge and shy Lannan just followed me.
We ran to the swings. Our favourite . I sat down on one and Lannan on the other, just as we started to swing someone pushed me off causing me to hit the floor. Lannan jumped off his swing and helped me up before marching over to the boys who pushed me and began trying to punch them. I mean they where a lot older than us and Lannan came home covered in mud and with two black eyes but he had stood up for me and I'm just returning the favour now.
I opened my eyes, pulled my wrist away and muttered my final words
"Im sorry but I had to." Before i turned around to face my soon to be killer. Then time seemed to slow down i saw the grin on Marcus's face and Lannan looking around frantically but I was happy, overjoyed even that Lannan was safe. I looked at the gun in Marcus's handed. BANG.
I heard the gun shot and it triggered me, my whole life flashed before my eyes but bits where missing. The bad memories. I felt the bullet getting nearer and let out one last sigh and then i heard the sound of it hitting flesh. Just not mine......
